This is THE program to make pixel art.
Sure you can actually use ANYTHING to make pixel art including MS Paint but the ammount of tools specifically designed for this branch of digital art are too good to ignore. The price is totally worth it and it deserves your money if you're remotely interested in getting into pixel art.
