Early Access Review
This game is a hidden gem that really scratch that "Terraria" adventure feeling, but sadly its pretty short compared to Terraria.

Progression is pretty simple and straight forward. While there's some kind of RPG element like skill tree and Pet leveling system, its very simple and shallow. Oh and there's also Mod support but I didn't get a chance to dabble into those.

For the content to price ratio, its worth getting now. The full 1.0 supposed to be released in August so I hope that update brings more beefy content to this already amazing game.

Ah Wonderlands. I really like the premise and the settings. Fantasy with gun really intrigues me, as I am a fan of Assault on Dragon Keep DLC from Borderlands 2. Gameplay wise is identical with BL3 with simplified Skill Tree. It is designed like because you can dual class in this game. But you can only equip 1 action skills active tho.

Grenade has been retooled into an actual spells now, there's quite a variety of it. From simple magic missile to summoning a meteor rains. Melee weapon is also a thing now, You can equip swords, clubs, scythe, etc. And you also got 2 ring slot and necklace accessories slot for stat boost. But as a result, they really diluted the loot pool. I swear I seen more melee weapon drops more than actual guns.

Story is actually good. Dragon Lord is a good written villain. Which is a surprise since Borderlands 3 writing is garbage and New Tales writing is also garage (this one even released after Wonderlands, go figure). Idk what the hell happened at Gearbox lmao.

And then there's the endgame. Hoo boi. While I like the premise of Chaos chambers (I actually wished for something like randomized dungeon / arena way back in BL2 days), the Chaos Levels themselves is grindy as ♥♥♥♥. There's like 100 of them. No way in hell I'm doing like 50+ chaos runs to get to that level. Also the game really incentives you to run Chaos Chamber more because, well, Legendary drops way more common there compared to other places. They weren't kidding when they said Wonderlands endgame is garbage.

Should you get Wonderlands? If you have slight interest in this, please just get it on a deep discount. And avoid buying the DLC too since I heard its very short and not worth the money. I think this game is just fun to play from start to finish, but when you reaches the endgame, things will start to fall apart. I'm putting this on negative since -lands games usually excels on its endgame. Not this one tho.

It's funny this game is like antithesis of Borderlands 3. That game is a slog to play through the endgame (Awful story + veeeeeryyy long). but has a fun Endgame. While Wonderlands is fun to play through from start to finish, has good story and the length is on par with BL2 base game in my opinion. Endgame is pure garbage and not fun. Oh also no New Game+, sad.

Man, I got this game from one of those launch promotional giveaway by SEGA SEA, and I regret not completing this game soon enough. And as someone who played a lil bit of Yakuza 0 and nothing else, this game is a fine point of entry for anyone who are interested into playing Yakuza / Like a Dragon series, although it is much better if you have knowledge of prior games, since there will be an instance where you go "Huh what's the deal with this guy?".

Unlike previous Yakuza game which is a brawler / beat-em up, this one is a turn based JRPG and I must say the combat is pretty decent, even tho there are some minor gripes I have with the system like you can't control the position of your party member during battle, and skills with area of effect is kinda jank to use because of it. And you can't even run from battle if somehow during the escape animation your character bumps into obstacles. (Thankfully I heard these are fixed in Infinite Wealth)

Oh and this game is really grind heavy during certain part of the story because there's sudden difficulty spike near the end of the game (There's twice in fact), so keep that in mind when approaching this game.

8/10 Great game, what a ride from start to finish.

Wow, while this DLC plays like typical farming sim, but the focus here is actually collecting recipe and cooking dishes to attract more people to visit Octopia. Its a refreshing take on the genre.

As for the gameplay, there's something that Octopia does different from your average farming sim. There's no Season here so you can freely plant any crops you want. Also crops grows very quickly in this game.
There's also the typical fishing mini-games and its pretty fun. Mining is also plays in a mini-game form, which reminds me a lot of Bomberman. Overall, its a nice expansion to the main story.

Oh and, while this game does takes place in seperate multiverse from the base game, you can jump straight into the DLC right away without playing the base game, there are some references that you will miss if you didn't play Eastward first, so I highly recommend you play that first, instead of jumping into Octopia blindly

They added a bad DRM recently and it wasn't there when I first bought the game. This is a bad practice and I rather stay away from Crapcom titles now.

This game is really addicting as heck. Prepare to lose chunk of time when you start playing it. Even for an Early Access game, its surprisingly stable (for the Single Player that is).

The game starts very simple at first, then as you progress through the milestones and tier, it gets really complex. It's really fun trying to figure out how to automate things but also try to make it *looks* good and not a spaghetti mess of a conveyor belts.

Oh, there's also a mods for this game too so if you craving for more, you absolutely can do a modded playthrough.

Cult of the Lamb is a roguelite dungeon crawling game that also has a colony management mixed into it. And the gameplay loop surprisingly works so well. You build you cult from the ground up, gather resources or gain new follower by going into the "dungeons", where the roguelite aspect comes in. Depends on your skill level, average runtime per dungeon run is 6 to 8 minutes. And then you go back to your cult base camp with your resources / new follower, do some colony management sim thingy, and then off to do another "dungeon" run again.

Combat is pretty simple, although some of the weapon hitbox is kinda jank (the axe comes to mind), and on some boss fight, it gets so hectic that there's so many particles cluttering the arena. Beyond that, the gameplay is pretty solid.
There's 3 choice in difficulty, so if you prefer a relaxed experience, you can do that, and if that is not enough, there's also accessibility option if you still feel the game is kinda hard.

Best of all, they actually added sex into the game, as per other players request. What a mad lad.
I highly recommend this game to any roguelite fans alike

Its just the Tiny Tina DLC from Borderlands 2 ripped apart and made standalone. Don't buy this one, buy Borderlands 2 instead if you never played it.

The second expansion to Forza Horizon 5 and it brings 10 new cars, and 1 new map. While the map itself looks very similiar to Mexico, the road design and the elevation is far better than the base game map and I have tons of fun driving around my C or B class car here. It is very small so driving around a fast car isn't feasible here.

The main attraction to this DLC is the Rally event. Set your expectation lower and don't expect a Dirt Rally-like event here. This is just the Horizon take on Rally, so everything is simplified to the pace notes and the road is still pretty wide. The Rally event itself is divided into 3 Teams, Raptor is your standard off-road Rally, Apex is road Rally and Raptor is like a mix of both but at night. Each team has 8 different rally routes and then you have a 1v1 duel in a cross country style route. One thing to keep in mind here is there's no circuit routes here, all of them are Point to Point races, even the Goliath is point to point race. Oh also there's also a standard race event here so not everything is "just rally" event.

I would say the DLC its pretty fun for what it is, I just wish the map is little bit bigger. Oh. I keep seeing some complain about the helicopter, but that didn't even bother me at all, and i think they just over exaggerating on the thing.

It's kinda hard to give recommendation for this one. The game was launched in a bad state, similiar to Age of Empires IV, heck I could say this one launched with even less feature and worse than AoE IV. But I believe they can turn things around too, with the recent 1.4 Update, the game is now in far more better state, BUT still need more polish imo, which I will talk about in a moment.

As for me, a Single Player enjoyer, I have fun times with the Italian Campaign, albeit there's been a three instance where the mission bugged and I can't finish it, forced to restart the whole mission again. And after it will get repetitive later down the line. So my opinion on the Italian Campaign is pretty mixed, while its fun, the bugs can get really irritating.

The African Operation is your standard 8 mission linear Campaign where as the Deutsches Afrikakorps. I played a couple of the mission, its fun and I like it more than the Italian Campaign because its way less repetitive.

For the Skirmishes, you have 4 faction right out of the gate this time around, unlike the previous entry which is only 2 and the rest come as a DLC. You have the standard US Forces, the returning British Forces, Wehrmacht, and the new Deutsches Afrikakorps which plays kinda similiar to OKW from CoH 2. While all factions are really fun and felt unique to one or another, the Commander system from CoH 2 is now replaced with Battlegroups, which function like a hybrid of the Commander and the Company from CoH 1, complete with the points tree to choose from. As for the bad, British Forces plays kinda weak to me (or maybe I'm just suck at the game LMAO) and there's still very few maps to play on. Relic promises to bring more maps in the future update so finger crossed on that.

Overall, despite of few annoyance with the bugs, I like it. And as for someone who can't get into CoH 2 but love CoH 1, CoH 3 is really felt like a mix of both. Feel like CoH 1 but with nice quality of life changes from 2 and more. Oh and as it right now (when this review published), there's very minimal microtransaction, only few skins and you can buy 2 additional Battlegroup with earnable Merits (which has far better grind than CoH2 lootbox system).

tl;dr, I like it even tho it needs more polish, just buy it during sale or something. Don't buy it at full price at this state.
