Early Access Review
This is my first ever review, but this game deserves it and the story of the HMS "Baby Shark" is one of greatness.

I logged in at 3.30 AM wanting to play for an hour max before going to bed. At once I saw a crew looking for a fourth member for their gunboat. I joined in and as soon as I reached the docks, we got destroyed from a dirty collie boat camping the docks in Oarbreaker Isles, never even fired a shell. We rebuilt, restocked and set sail, took out the enemy gunboat in revenge and proceeded to shell the fort and defenses at Strong Beach. Once they were down we had to resupply. Afterwards, we helped another operation who were about to land at Conclave and try to take it. We shelled the northern beach to open up a landing ground for them and wished them the very best.

After another resupply we headed on the west side of the main island, we shelled Pram Road and helped our infantry getting pushed back at the Ides as best we could until we had run out of shells. Yet another resupply and we had to aid our brothers invading Conclave as two enemy gunboats were harassing them. But the numbers disadvantage couldn't deter us and we headed for battle. We managed to destroy both enemy gunboats with precision fire and we swung around to Kukri and Castor to further shell enemy defenses and FOBs.

The next resupply had us shelling the base at Infans and the fort at The Palisade as well as many static defenses around those points. The boys on the ground were starting to push hard as we were shelling enemy backlines into oblivion. The next step was to help our comrades push into Pram Road and then Requiem.

It was a major offensive, we had just researched tanks. A combined infantry, tank and naval operation was set in motion. We shelled the enemy defenses at Pram Road hard, the armored spearhead pushed in and we kept up with them, shelling Requiem and opening up the ground for the tanks. Enemy FoBs, AT Guns, Foxholes, CVs, engineers, they all had shells with their names on them. We swung around the south side of the island and entered the bay at Camp Posterus. Our boys on the ground were fighting hard, they had pushed the Collies back into their base. We kept shelling all we could find, enemy logi at the factory, howitzers giving our boys a hard time, anything that moved. The Collies couldn't mount a proper defense against us, neither on land or at sea, but their base had strong fortifications and our armored division couldn't keep up a sustained assault. Soon we had to go resupply as well, but another friendly crew had our backs and gave us ammo right then and there. The battle at Requiem turned into a slugfest, our engineers dug in and built defenses so we went back around near Doe's head to assist our comrades. We had taken a direct howitzer hit from the enemy base, but we had an important task at hand, so we had no time to repair. We shelled the enemy hard at Doe's head, but some sneaky Collies finally managed to get up to us and give us some RPG shots. We killed 2 of them, but 2 RPG shots were enough to finally sink us.

In the end, after a bit more than 7 hours, we had taken down 7 enemy gunboats, an APC which sneaked past our front and harassed our logi, 3 forts, 5 FoBs, countless enemy static defenses, watchtowers, CVs, engineers and logi players before finally the HMS "Baby Shark" met its end. I can't express the pride I feel in our crew, our logi who always kept us resupplied with Lt Arty shells, the people helping coordinate attacks and our boys on the ground fighting the good fight. This game is a shining example of an amazing community and it really gives weight to all your actions.

Thank you shazbot, voidsteppin, Kowalski and later on Whynot, Proto and Lokian for being the best the mighty Warden Navy had that day. Exemplary soldiers, who ruined a ton of Collie lives at Oarbreaker Isles while being the only gunboat on our side for a big chunk of the time. Thanks to Treebro and his crew for joining the big offensive, as well as resupplying us later on.

Buy the game, communicate with people and you are bound to have tons of fun. See you on the battlefield to shoot up some Colonists!
