Friday on the 8th of March, it was announced that the legendary Mangaka Akira Toriyama had passed one week prior due to fatal cerebral blood clot.
I mean, what needs to be said? This is the man who defined a generation, was THE reason many young men were exposed to Japanese animation as a whole, and defined/perfected Shonen as a whole. Oh, and he was part of the once in a lifetime Dream Team that crafted my favorite game of all time: Chrono Trigger.

I CAN'T WAIT
Today, Aug 1st of 2021 at 15:29, Christian Weston Chandler (Chris-Chan) was removed from his hotel room and arrested. The immediacy and brevity means there was likely a warrant in play (most certainly for violating the EPO between him and his mother). Today is a day that will live in history; a possible final chapter in the annuls of Christory.

Today, May 19th of 2021, it was formally announced that Kentaro Miura, creator of the legendary manga Berserk, has passed away.
Berserk has been, and will continue to be, my absolute favorite thing ever...
The joy you brought me and millions of others will never be forgotten. You crafted arguably the greatest protagonist and antagonist ever put to page; in an imaginative world that went from Medieval Fantasy to Dark Fantasy, culminating in High Fantasy. The twist and turns, the drama, those long stretches where we could only wildly speculate where the story would go... this was a ride we all took together, with one another and with you...
From the bottom of my heart I sincerely thank you, sir.
You will be greatly missed...
