I initially made this review a doomsday post about the state of the game due to the acquisition of the IP from Gearbox; an entertaining riff on the "Joe Biden Wake Up". Of course, I later thought I was just being hyperbolic, especially with the Dead Cells crossover patch dropping.

Turns out I wasn't. Gearbox has damaged this game beyond belief in ways unfathomable. Countless bugs that effect game play, numerous UI changes that are frankly broken upon release, the FPS being tied to important game mechanics like AUDIO?

It lives and breathes as if Randy Pitchford himself got pissed that the Borderlands film flopped and is taking it out on everyone.

If you are thinking about buying this game, I'd recommend pirating it instead.
