Prostagma!

Finally a remake of an old game that not only updates the visuals but improves mechanics and adds tons of new features! Huge upgrade over the original. Must play for any RTS fan!

Update:
Months after release - game keeps on giving. New content coming and Dev's actually listen to player feedback.

Review changed after Sony reversed course regarding PSN account linking.

Kudos to the community for achieving this and saving an amazing game from corporate bs.

Note: Marked as "received for free" as this was purchased by my friends as a bday gift.

Game with great potential and fun core, but tons of bugs, missing content, abysmal interface and out-of-touch devs that focus on introducing predatory mobile-game micro transactions into a $60 title and limiting player options to earn "free currency" that can't be spent almost on anything, instead of fixing the damn game.

This is a sad story of corporate greed murdering a passionate community and beloved franchise for the sake of short term monetary gains. There's still potential in the game but seeing what are the priorities of Relic and Sega, I doubt things will change for better - I hope I'm wrong - and if that's the case, I'll update my review.

Extremely simple yet addictive. Gameplay loop is super solid - despite game being 2D sprite based, it sucks you in similarly to Loop Hero or Valheim.

Game is a reverse bullet hell - where you are the boss that gets upgrades to fight increasingly harder swarms of enemies. Plenty of cool mechanics and very satisfying sense of progression (rogue-lite elements).

It's a steal for the money - one of the best titles in past few months.

Simply amazing.

Game starts off with great setting, mood and mechanics and then twists your brain multiple times with elements of ARG, RPG, Rouge like/lite(?).

Has a bit of slow/overwhelming moments, but you learn the mechanics quite quickly and it moves forward with story in an entertaining manner.

Lot's of attention to detail. It also creates a magnificent illusion of being a much larger game than it actually is, which is a pity but also shows how well designed it was from the get-go.

If you like horrors/card games/puzzles/plot twists/retro graphics and breaking 4th wall - this is definitely a title for you.

Approx 10-12 hours of solid entertainment.

This is the best action-adventure-platformer of the decade. Amazing story expanding on the first game (and brief VR experience), that vastly improves on the original mechanics, while sprawling with creative and fun ideas. Level design is superb, controls are comfortable and amount of detail and heart put into this game is just incredible. I haven't encountered a single bug, game is super polished and is a prime example of how a fully released game should look like. Well worth the full price - and if you can grab it in any promo - don't think twice. Buy it and support the devs like DoubleFine - those are the people that deserve your money, not the greedy corpos that sell DLC or lootboxes while releasing unfinished games.

I rate the game - hammer and sickle / 10

Amazing game - great stories, decisions matter and they affect the plot (like some side characters can get killed based on your choices, or you can make some profit of them) lots of high quality quests and missions, great setting and open world. Morality is... real and brutal - making "the right thing" doesn't always reward you with something good. Sometimes you have to be a scum yourself to gain anything. Lots of replayability.
Side missions can affect the ending. References to other games, movies, books etc - lots of them, and in a fun way.

The bad: AI (mostly cars), car collisions (you can pretty much survive all of them), occasional visual and audio bugs, scarce NPC interactions with non-important characters. Hard to navigate inventory and quest system. If you want to experience all outcomes then you have to play the game multiple times with all life paths. While story branches out it converges in major plot points to same result. No way to reset Attributes (can reset Perks tho). Optimisation could be bit better.

If all bugs are squished and game keep steady content then this is easily a killer RPG. It was just released too early. Time will show if devs make it a pinnacle of RPG's.

Either way - if you're on PC - you're getting your money's worth of fun.

Possibly the best middle-ground in terms of military simulation (Arma) and arcade (Battlefield). One simple and complete package. Easy to start, hard to master and teamwork is not an option - its a requirement. Games are won by proper communication and coordination and not by sheer firepower.
