Style: Retro style, the lighting and atmosphere is quite nice and sets a grim tone - with the added bonus of enemies' blood recoloring the walls and floors. Enemies can lose limbs and become visually damaged, it makes the combat feel like it has significant weight. A+

Levels: Very classically inspired locations - lots of heavy industrial environments, dipping into some very Doom-esq levels at the end of the campaign. Solid stuff but other than a rather unique portion 2/3's in, you've probably seen this sort of thing before. B+

Weapons: Wonderful, responsive, loud, an absolute blast to use; very lovely stuff - good lineup here. Most of the weapons have utility even until the very end of the game. A+++

Enemies: Decent variety; they do different things and feel distinct to fight - although barring a couple of late-game surprises you run out of new enemy types halfway through the game. B+

Music: Andrew Hulshult nailing the OST as always. The tracks alternate between rumbling, moody atmospheric tracks when there are no enemies to heavy riffs in the middle of combat. Only complaint is that the encounters set to the heavier stuff don't tend to last long enough to get into a good groove. A+

Overall a very fun game, I highly recommend it to anyone interested in a retro shooter experience.
