THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS

Legends tell a tale of four sourcerer’s whose names were lost to memory as they were shipwrecked on a prison beach by the mighty Kraken. Despite the difficulty of this first leg of their journey they quickly escaped killed their way across the island towards freedom, with speed as if though they had done this a half dozen times before. Joined by The Lady Vengeance, a ship which knew no equal, the heroes were greeted by M’lady who dispatched them on the next leg of their journey.
Emerging into the port city of Driftwood the heroes notoriety rose, the streets murmured with tales of the four sourcerer’s and although time had erased their names, their visage was not forgotten. The elven archer who broke the mold of elven archers. Despite his skimpy clothes, he was far too lanky to be considered traditionally beautiful. Following in the tradition of his kinsmen, the archer was a cannibal. The towering lizard pyromaniac was feared across the land by those not immune to fire. She was often useless against their foes, but never her friends. The dwarf who could take a blow and seldom stop breathing. A human summoner who’s powers were unmatched. Though his strength was not as renowned as the others, he possessed countless magical capabilities, the greatest of which brought in the sixth and greatest member of this motley crew. Jenkins stood twice as tall as the tallest lizard and was as broad as three men. He could eat a dwarf in a single bite and was imbued with the powers of all the elements. In stature, strength, and speed he had no equal. Boasting the ability to control any element, Jenkins was truly a god among godwoken.
Throughout their travels in the greater driftwood metropolitan area the five members grew powerful and slew many a foe. They ate the heart of a dead giant bug dwarf monster creature to claim its might as their own. Countless creatures lay in their wake, undead, bears, skeletons, dwarfs, more undead, demons, a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ old wizard, a genie, an army of slimes, townspeople, innocent and guilty alike, and too many magisters to count. As they prepared to depart, the dwarf stared into a mirror and changed his very soul, unlocking the ability to summon the seventh and final member of this ragabound gang. Boasting the abilities of Jenkins, Alfred was another big boi. Despite the new addition the crew began to head in their own ideological directions. The pyromaniac discovered a craving for souls, the dwarf grew bored of their journey and the archer was apathetic to the human’s pleas to stay on course.
Nothing is known of their brief stay on the Nameless Isle, for it is a place that defies the logic of this world. Quickly sweeping through the streets of Arx, pausing only to slayevade the mad doctor, which proved far more difficult than expected

Final Battle Spoilers Ahead:
After months of meandering through their travels unaware of what exactly happened around them, our heroes(?) had finally arrived at their final destination. Confronted by Lucian, Dallis, Braccus Rex, and at long last the Kraken, whom our irrational heroes had been anticipating slaying. As the angry foes bickered amongst themselves about some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ our heroes devised a strategy to take them all out. Attacking head one worked perfectly as it quickly devolved into a brawl. Necrofire encompassed every square meter of the map and bodies dropped astoundingly fast. Amongst the first to fall where the Hammer, the dwarf, and by extension his cuddly buddy, Alfred. Things looked hopeful when Lucian fell, but that brought about the realization that they had been helping Braccus and his forces were far stronger than the remaining sourcers. They quickly realized the only solution was to deal with Braccus and then the final goal of slaying the dreaded monster. Yet before Braccus could meet his demise the elven lad took a bit of a spill. Soon enough though Braccus was nothing more than an incinerated pile of ash at the feet of the two remaining sourcerers and their powerful companion. Yet before they could turn their attention to the Kraken it had a heart attack after watching its master greet the reaper, denying them of their own true goal. Now there were two, and everyone knows a battle royale only has one winner so they decided to fight to the death. Staring across the arena at one another our heroes remembered their journey and strife together. Before Jenkins was summoned to the arena the pyromancer committed one last act of friendly fire after teleporting across the arena and summoning a literal meteor shower down on his friend. Whom to the surprise of no one was melted into a little pile of mush. Then I became god. 11/10

I don't care how many times I play this, it will always be one of my favorite games. I cannot think of a game with more ways of tackling a single objective.

Honestly I love this game, it has its flaws but if you have a decent enough computer I would definitely recommend getting it.
Pros:
  • Stellar combat, feels just like City, the new environment interactions are a nice touch
  • The batmobile, this controls so smoothly and the car chases are a lot of fun.
  • Gotham, the much larger city is fun to explore and every part of it is interesting, also the random dialogue you hear from milita and thugs alike can cause you to just stop and listen for it can be quite entertaining.
  • The story was epic, even if the Arkham Knight's reveal was lackluster
  • The side missions are fun and plentiful
  • Personally I encountered zero problems well playing the game, no lag or stuttering
Cons:
  • Over-emphasis on tank fights
  • Not enough interaction with the rest of the bat family
  • No sign of villians actually teaming up
  • Season Pass and DLC, the only of the extra missions I've played so far was the Red Hood, outside of the kill moves it was incredibly disapointing, there was almost no content, the Red Hood had one unique ability, and the story was nonexistant.

On a side note you can also pick up the game + season pass on other websites(steam blocks the names) for around $20
