Yeah I dunno bros. Other than the lack of blood and full-sized map, works fine on my machine.

Side note: Ever wonder why having blood in the game would raise the maturity rating to 18+, but they gave so many units in Nurgle roster big bazonkas?

I love the Total War Series and have been playing it since ME2. I have bought every single Total War up to TW 2. This game just feels like Attila with a fresh paint job and slightly revamped recruitment and army system in that units no longer come to bear at full strength and you must manage food as well as supply. My biggest gripe is how easy the game is with you being able to recruit a 12-14 stack and steamroll major settlements while recruiting two 2-3 unit armies to just quickly occupy minor settlements. Great ideas, but poor implementation I think.

Honestly this game has a lot of potential and the graphics are surprisingly good but that's about where it stops in the positive aspects of the game. The A.I. is potpourri of randomness, your recruits can behave intelligently or act as dumb as a sack of rocks while the enemy is the latter, period, your teammates will also shoot you in the back of the neck because of how you treated them in boot camp and general it feels as if I have no control over them, not to mention that privates will die in literally one hit. Also the inconsistency of the game is an issue for me, a grenade 10 feet away can blow up a shack but the exploding barrels inches away can't blow up the same target, in keeping on topic with the barrels all of the enemies seem to be wearing their flak jackets and ballistic face masks because many will stand right next to a barrel and get hit by the explosion and walk away like nothing ever happened. The melee function is non-existent but the animation is. On one run-through of a mission, one of my soldiers started piggy-backing me and when I switched to that soldier, the game crashed, no time for fun and games while on a mission it seems.

In short, a load of potential but very buggy currently. I cannot recommend it at this stage but if the various bugs and current state of the game does not bother you, I say go for it and support these developers.

EDIT: Contrary to what many are saying, you can literally run in guns blazing with one man and win the mission, I've done it on Jungle, Stealth, Village, and Survival.

I must say, this game took a unique approach to the typical rpg, rather instead of controlling a party of 3-6 characters, you control 1-5 squads with a maximum of 5 characters in it. Mechanics are good and the game play is good but if you are an impatient person, don't get, but then again you shouldn't be playing rpgs if you are an impatient person. Also it should be noted that you should not grind or you will get wrecked later on.

People are so hyped over this and HL3 for what reason? Average shooter. Nothing special.

Ninjas in outerspace. Pretty cool, turns into a grind though if you don't buy ingame money.
