This game is developed by the same developer of Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. Immediately there are a lot of similarity with RCT3 which isn't a bad thing, but this game is massively upgrade in every aspect of RCT3. So if you like RCT3 buy this game, the gameplay, customization is the best in the genre currently, RCTW doesn't even come close. The management part is ok not too challenging and when you build a massively big park with lot of details the frame rate can drop quite a bit, so make sure to have a decent PC as this game is quite CPU demanding.

This is a terrible port. The max resolution you get is 720p and there some random frame drop here and there as well. The story mission is extremely short and the first half of the game is really easy as the game A.I. is terrible, also you don't have access to the gadgets you usually have with other Splinter Cell games, you play the first half of the game with the pistol and a few grenade that's it. The level design is very linear and doesn't offer a lot of ways to tackle it. There are also some sound issues I encounter where the music or sound effect just randomly mute. Not reccommended for anyone until Ubisoft fix their ♥♥♥♥.

There are a lot of frustrating bugs in this game. Especially in chapter 6 and 11 where guards become invisible or stuck, can't disable light barrier, guards with inconsistent vision (they detect you mile away while you in the shadow), or game crash when you try to restart the level, etc. Until they fix those bugs I can't recommend this to anyone.

Blood Ties dlc is mainly a story dlc, you go around the mansion pick up relics and clue to solve the puzzle of the Croft Manor. The zombie mode however is very easy since the zombies move really slow you can basically headshot them all, boss fight is meh not challenging as the other bosses in the game. Coop endurance mode is pretty fun if you have a friend to play with, otherwise just use the matchmaking. Overall if you enjoy the extra story ties to the main game then buy it, the zombie mode is too easy but you can still have fun with it.

Gameplay is good, a huge improvement from Human Revolution. However, the story is lacking (feels like they trying to sell the story in parts as DLC), microtransaction in a single-player game (WTF) and all those bonus you get from pre-ordering the game is for one use only plus the season pass is extremely lacking in term of story content so meh. 7/10

Terrible frame rate, texture popping, crash several times I try to run the game. I have hope for this game but if this is how they handle the PC port then I'm out. I want a refund.

Pro:

- Lot of replay value as there are a lot of ways to kill your target. Ton of stuffs around the environment to pick up and interact with, which you can use in unexpect ways to kill your target.
- Levels in this game is huge, biggest in the Hitman series, the levels are design to let you kill your target from many angle.
- Elusive Target are fun to play, every week there a new Elusive Target and you have a limit time to eliminate your target and if you fail you won't be able to try it again.
- Escalation is fun if you want a challenge, each level of escalation add more difficult objective for you to complete.

Con:

- The game is not well optimize, some patchs cause frame rate drop even on my high end PC.
- Some annoying bugs like NPC sometime can see through wall, get stuck in some tight place or NPC die when you drag them to a water puddle etc.
- Online DRM can be annoying, if there is a server maintainace then you won't have access to unlockable in game.
- Could have use more voice actors, hearing the same voice actor through 3 episodes is bad. Break immersion when you are in an Africa level and hear NPC speak american accent.
- Lacking music from Jesper Kyd.

7 out of 10.

While Splinter Cell Blacklist have returns to it stealth root, there are still a lot of problems that I have with this game:

- No Michael Ironside voicing Sam Fisher.
- The campaign story is terrible compare to the older game.
- Some missions force the player into FPS session which is not fun at all, too much horde mode.
- The side missions are more challenging than the main campaign.
- Coop is hit or miss, most of the time you can't even find a coop partner.
- Uplay is ♥♥♥♥.
- Checkpoint system is terrible, you can't manually save at all.
