One of the funniest games I have ever played. No career will be similar in the insane world of Wrestling Empire. Tons of player freedom, customization, and great mod support on the Steam Workshop. This wacky game only gets better as time goes on and I've loved every second of it. The wrestling gameplay itself is fun and arcadey, with plenty of room for hilarious interactions and wild action that definitely shouldn't be tried at home.

I've had careers end broke and broken down on the indies, dying in a hardcore barbed wire tag team match; and I've had careers going from promotion to promotion, making bank and getting gold in every company I touch, all the while seeking revenge on a former tag team partner who betrayed to me to get a title shot. There's a lot of space to develop a story of your own in this game, and that's just the wrestling career mode. There's a booker career mode, exhibition matches to put together whatever match you want from the game's options, as well as an ever growing number of community game modes on the workshop. If you have an appreciation for pro wrestling, absurdist humor in the vein of 2000s Adult Swim, or both, I would highly recommend this game.

Quality Tactics game. Lots of levels and campaigns to play through, plus a level editor. Devs seem to have moved on though, since the game is five years old now
