There always seems to be a lot of buzz when there's talk of old Star Wars game remakes but somehow I didn't catch wind of this one until today, shame really because I think its a really nice remake. Now personally I do think the price tag is just a little steep, $20 would seem more reasonable to me but its not the most egregious price tag ever.

The remake provides significantly enhanced visuals but remains faithful to the original style. The gameplay is essentially the same but everything runs far better than the original and coming from someone who's replayed the original Dark Forces fairly recently it makes for a far more enjoyable gameplay experience.

For anyone who hasn't played the original, you can expect fairly conventional Doom-like boomer shooter gameplay. The missions involve traversing a map and shooting down enemies with a variety of weapons until you get to the right place to complete your main objective, then heading back to the exit point to finish the mission.

I'd recommend this game to both fans of Star Wars and boomer shooters alike, but if you're unsure about the price tag wait until its on sale.

Good game, almost nothing bad to say about it and comprehensively feature complete in almost every aspect, a rare gem in modern AAA gaming. You can befriend a doggo and pet him whenever you want.

Personally I would've liked to see support for a more police brutality orientated play-style, I feel like there was a lot of missed potential there. In any case the game is basically what you'd expect, go on patrol, walk around, give people tickets, investigate crashes, etc. It's a shame that they basically kept all the boring parts about being a cop and none of the fun parts, but if that's what you're in the market for I guess this is the game for you.

Genuinely heartwarming to see a mainstream game like this really embrace transgender diversity, highly recommend to any fellow trans allies; well worth the money to support such an inclusive studio.

There seems to be a lot of confusion about what you actually get from buying this and whether it's a scam so I'll clear this up.

The original Forsaken DLC had 2 main parts:
- The Tangled Shore: The area in which the main campaign takes place.
- The Dreaming City: An area unlocked after the campaign with endgame content and the story surrounding that endgame content.

Bungie periodically removes old, less relevant content from their games to keep the game's file size manageable otherwise it would be well into the hundreds of gbs. Not too long ago Bungie removed the Tangled Shore and all the content inside of it as it had become largely irrelevant to the current state of the game however the Dreaming City and everything inside remained (as did all the exotic weapons and various other things that were not strictly tied to the Tangled Shore free roam area.)

When Bungie removed this portion of Forsaken's content, they replaced the DLC with a less expensive option "Forsaken Pack" which include all the Dreaming City content (namely the Shattered Throne dungeon and Last Wish raid) and also gives you three free Forsaken exotic weapons of your choice (the remaining can be bought from a vendor for various resources).

I'm not sure exactly why some people are confused by this, if you read the "about this content" section of the store page Bungie is very upfront about the content included, in no way has Bungie advertised this pack as anything other than exactly what it is; they even gave it a different name to differentiate it from the original Forsaken DLC.

Since I've put the scam accusations to rest now, do I think it's overpriced? Maybe, I think 10-12 dollars would be a better pricetag. The content is extremely good but it's also old and not everyone is going to want to play endgame content which is mostly what this pack gives you. Then again, if you want my opinion I don't think you miss out on much from losing the Tangled Shore, not this late after it's release, the whole destination had become largely irrelevant and the story was fine but the campaign missions themselves weren't much to write home about, the best content was definitely the Dreaming City. With that in mind, if you consider the fact that the og Forsaken DLC cost ~double the price of this one back when it was around this might actually be a better deal now than it was before the pack.

In conclusion, I'm not saying whether you should or shouldn't buy it but I don't really think you're getting any worse a deal now than you would have before and it's definitely not a scam. Just do a little research about The Dreaming City, Shattered Throne and Last Wish and make your own choice about how you want to spend your money.

I was struggling with increasingly expensive gas prices but that was until I picked up Ukrainian ball in search of gas, for the low, low price of 50 cents I now have all the gas I could ever want!

10/10, highly recommend.

It's not often you can say "my favorite game is a genocide simulator" and have it be completely un-exaggerated
