Did you ever hear the tragedy of King Gustavus The Wise? I thought not. It’s not a story the Catholics would tell you. It’s a Lutheran legend. King Gustavus was a King of Sweden, so powerful and so wise he could use his military wit to lead his armies to victory in battle… He had such a knowledge of tactics that he could even save Protestants from the Holy Roman Empire. Lutheranism is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful… the only thing he was afraid of was losing his own family to the Catholic Church, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught daughter everything he knew, then his daughter converted after abdicating her throne. Ironic. He could save others from Catholicism, but not his daughter.
