I have played this game with mods; and I would highly highly suggest look at getting good mods that will run with modern hardware; this game is a blast to play with the mods; if you play it without mods it looks very dated; but this does not mean you should not buy new vegas; you should consider absolutely buying the ultimate edition of this game and make sure.
