Aside from the influence of Sony, this game is incredible. It has friends of mine playing when they have never had a single interest in shooters once in their life.

This game was great and I wish they'd make a sequel or sell the IP to someone who will do something with it.

The class overhaul single-handedly fixed this game. It's a blast now.

Huge fan of the original and this lives up to it perfectly. Immaculate movement physics and gunplay.

The netcode needs work. Gun play feels floaty and disconnected because nothing is hitscan but there's a noticeable latency with the projectiles. You will shoot something point blank and feel like some of your shots are just disappearing. Hopefully they will improve this once they're out of beta.

Co-op mode is challenging and fun although I'd like to see bigger co-op content involving more than 3 players eventually. PvP is pointless until they can fix the netcode so player movements will stop being choppy and bullets no longer feel like they disappear.

The roguelike elements in co-op are a nice touch but I hope in the future they'll add more than just one set of powers per character to give you more build choice other than just weapons.

Cosmetic unlocks are nothing to write home about. Basic color palette swaps. Would like to see cosmetics that change the look of the character far more. As it stands I don't feel any incentive to spend money on cosmetics because they aren't substantial changes.

The PvP in this game can be entertaining sometimes but understand that you're inevitably going to end up with hours of hard work demolished in an instant or overnight. Whichever team has the most manpower on your server will always end up on top no matter how skilled you are individually, and they will steamroll you once your base is developed/valuable enough. PvE and modded servers are more enjoyable but bring friends.
