Judging only the game (meaning minus all the hype drama), the game itself is pretty well made (though maybe not $60 well made). Being able to explore a pretty much endless universe provides a really great experience. The one thing I would criticize would be its replayability, as there's only so much procedural generation can do before repeats start occuring.
