The gameplay with bots (I don't play online on this) is janky and usually annoying but I love the horror aesthetic and look of the game.

SUPER FUN game
I love the animations and there are so many moves in it, the enemies are just so many, even though most of them are reskins of eachother they remain refreshing each level. Same with the weapons

Even the story became engaging towards the end even though it had a slow start

Yeah it was quite the experience.
I really liked the distorted sounds and the graphics were touching uncanny valley territory.

Mediocre leaning to the side of bad games. A very promising idea poorly executed. From the stale gameplay and boss fights even to the UI itself you can see how cheap this game is. Certainly not worth its full price. I paid 5 bucks for it and I feel I wasted them.
I hope someone takes this idea and executes it better in the future..

Simple, hard and good looking, nothing negative to say. I will give the other games a try.

Excellent title. While it has simple mechanics it manages to be a challenge throughout the entire story. The fighting sections make you feel like a total badass with the slo-mo after each kill and the usage of the special skills that add a bit of depth to your combat options. The parkour sections are pretty boring however, they become stale after a while but it is a proper way to switch between each level.
The story is nothing extraordinary but it fits very well with the cyberpunk setting the game beautifully sets.
The soundtrack is top-notch. Sometimes it even felt like it flowed in unison with the jumping and slashing.
My complaints are the abhorrent v-sync. It made the game stutter after each kill, ruining it. Unfortunately I didn't find out that was the problem early enough. And hardmode doesn't give you an achievement for beating it.
All in all, an excellent game with its own little problems that thankfully don't reduce the enjoyment.

Outstanding game. From gameplay to visual style, music and the references to retro movies, they all contribute to a complete package that will make you grateful for finding this gem. I absolutely recommend it without second thought, go for full price or not, it's your call.

Playing with a controller is advised

Emily is Away is a short game, but does its job very well, you chat with a girl you seem to know for a long time and you can experience first-hand the painful effects of friend-zoning. I also love it when you press random buttons for the message to appear on screen. It makes the game more interactive. All in all, a simple game that I enjoyed a lot.

A decently priced pack with decent looking skins. If you are someone that wants to have a skin on his gun that is not the Elephant skin then this pack is for you. They are not the best skins in the game but in my opinion it's the only thing that is worth buying, from cosmetics.

Katana ZERO is one of the best games I have in my library and a personal favorite. Here are the reasons why:
To begin with, the game has beautiful background, animations and each level has its own personality, which means that each and every one of them is completely different and never feels like one repeats another. Despite the small variety of enemies the gameplay on each level flows like it should, the placement of each enemy can change the flow significantly. The story is intriguing enough, doesn't get dull at all and characters are introduced even up until the final moments of the story. Some people say that the ending is not satisfying enough but it is obvious that there will be a second episode. The interaction with the dialogue makes the entire game enjoyable, giving it huge replayablity value. An update to the game also added the Hardmode filter and the Speedrun mode. Hardmode makes each level a lot more challenging and introduces new enemies to make it even harder. Nerves made of steel recommended. The Speedrun mode is a mode where you play the game and depending on your time you get a rating at the end of each level.
For the negatives I can't really think of anything serious, the game doesn't have any bugs (at least from what I have seen) or something that can make it unplayable. The only complaint I have is that there are not many animations, everyone dies the same, attacks from the player are three, up, down, left-right, but the difference is very small. I would also like more sprites for dead enemies, like if you throw them a knife it will be stuck on their chest. Apart from that though the game is pretty much perfect.
In conclusion, Katana ZERO is one hell of a game, reminds me of Hotline Miami a game that is a great inspiration for other titles. Good story, replayabilty, action. However, if you don't want to get a game that is not over yet you better wait for the DLC or update. Full price is totally worth it.
