Early Access Review
Really fun game however I am a simpleton and cannot even do well on standard difficulty. I don't know how there are people who beat levels in under 10 seconds so hats off to you. The game also has butt-plug support so that's a positive I guess, good game I just suffer from skill issue lmao

Best Stellaris dlc since utopia. I don't say this often but this paradox dlc is actually worth the full price. Listen to blade from the OST, absolute banger.

I am going to start and say I love Bethesda games, but this ain't it.

The setting is possibly my favorite I've had for an RPG which is the early space age and being the first to explore other planets. However, as others have said before HOW TF did Bethesda make SPACE BORING?!?!? Like seriously, so many possibilities yet the only questline I managed to find genuine enjoyment from was the corporate espionage one because it was somewhat unique. But everything else is "go get that thing to continue" and "did you go there and grab my wrench, its my favorite and I cant use any of the ones right next to me"

Story was the same mission repeated over and over again, for an ending that was kinda okay and cool but after that, thats it. No multiple endings, just one. then you can choose to either start the story over again or explain everything to your friends, is there a different ending if you explain it to them though? NO! Because why would they bother making another ending? I really hope they do something new with the planned DLC for this game because as of right now I haven't touched it after my first playthrough because whats the point if there are no different endings.

25 years my ass! They made SPACE boring, quests are just copied over from other games with the same tasks, soft locks at multiple places where I had to disable my achievements just so I could progress.

The only upside to this game is the ship customization and combat, other than that a waste of money. Not worth $70, and certainly not worth $100 for the digital premium/early access.

A VERY GENEROUS 4/10

Deep Rock Galactic: A Masterclass in Cooperative Mining Mayhem

Deep Rock Galactic is an absolute gem in the realm of cooperative gaming, seamlessly blending intense action, strategic teamwork, and a charmingly rugged aesthetic.

Graphics and Atmosphere:
From the moment you step into the shoes of a dwarven miner, you're greeted with stunning visuals that capture the essence of deep space mining. The attention to detail in the subterranean environments, coupled with dynamic lighting and particle effects, creates an immersive atmosphere that keeps you hooked. The game's unique art style, characterized by the robust dwarven characters and intricately designed caverns, adds a touch of whimsy to the otherwise intense setting. If you have a HDR monitor/screen I recommend you play with it on because all of the colors truly POP.

Gameplay:
Deep Rock Galactic is a gameplay experience that is both challenging and immensely satisfying. Each class — Driller, Gunner, Engineer, and Scout — brings a unique set of skills and weapons, fostering a reliance on teamwork to overcome the various challenges the underground world presents. All of them are fun to play and to promote. The dynamic terrain and hordes of alien creatures keep every mission feeling fresh. The unpredictability of cave layouts, combined with the diverse enemy types, ensures that no two expeditions are alike. The thrill of navigating treacherous landscapes, digging through rock walls, and fending off swarms of hostile creatures creates a pulse-pounding experience that's hard to put down. One thing that is extremely refreshing in a multiplayer game is the sacristy of toxic players, after 80+ hours in the game I have only encountered 2-3 toxic players which were quickly kicked from the lobby.

Progression and Customization:
The game offers a satisfying progression system, allowing players to unlock new weapons, tools, and cosmetics as they complete missions and achieve objectives. The variety of weapons and gadgets available for each class adds a layer of strategy to the gameplay, as players can tailor their loadouts to suit their preferred playstyle or the demands of the mission. promoting each class is slow but to get to the top tier will take 100s of hours of gameplay and only for the true dedicated fans of the game.

Sound Design:
The audio in Deep Rock Galactic complements the visual experience perfectly. The rumble of the caverns, the echoing footsteps of dwarves, and the otherworldly sounds of the alien creatures all contribute to the immersive atmosphere. The dynamic soundtrack intensifies during critical moments, adding an extra layer of tension and excitement to the gameplay.

Conclusion:
Deep Rock Galactic is a modern day masterpiece in cooperative gaming. The constant updates and community engagement from the developers demonstrate a commitment to the game's ongoing success. Whether you're a seasoned miner or a newcomer to the depths, Deep Rock Galactic offers an exhilarating and rewarding experience that cements its place as a standout title in the cooperative gaming genre. Grab your pickaxe, rally your friends, and get ready for an intergalactic mining adventure like no other. 100/100

Yes, this game runs like trash rn even with my 3080 and my cpu is dying. However, this game improves on all of the mechanics of the first game and has extremely fluid combat. If you get past the first planet you can see and nice increase of FPS, I get around 40 or 50. The devs will improve the performance, blame EA for forcing them to release this early. I cant wait to finish the story and I will update my review to reflect the game overall and hopefully the performance is fixed by then

Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic masterpiece of a game that takes players on a wild ride through the rugged and unforgiving landscapes of the Old West. The game is a stunning achievement in both storytelling and gameplay.

From the moment you start playing, you're immediately immersed in the world of Red Dead Redemption 2. The attention to detail is absolutely incredible, with every aspect of the game's world painstakingly crafted to be as realistic and immersive as possible. From the gorgeous sunsets over the mountains to the bustling towns and cities full of people going about their business, every detail is a testament to the dedication and skill of the game's developers.

But it's not just the visuals that make Red Dead Redemption 2 so impressive. Not only that but this game is so well optimized that I can run it at 4K 60 FPS with zero stutters (GPU- 3080). The game's story is one of the best I've ever experienced in a video game. It is also impressive how the developers were able to almost fully capture what it was like for many living in the "Wild" West in the final days before it died well as the larger political and social issues of the time.

The writing is top-notch, with memorable characters and a plot that will keep you engaged from beginning to end. While the story is certainly the game's main focus, it is easily the best part of the game. (One of the few games to get me close to sobbing my eyes out). Not to mention there's plenty to keep you entertained as well. Whether you're hunting animals for food, robbing trains and stagecoaches, or engaging in shootouts with rival gangs, there's always something to do in the world.

I have never been a fan of Westerns however this game made me feel the love for them like my old man's love for the Westerns of the 70s like "The Outlaw Josey Wales". As much as I would love for the first game to get ported to PC, the spaghetti code barely keeping the game together makes it near impossible but this game makes me want to boot up my old ps3 and play through the first game. Along with that it is very unlikely we will get a third game in this series as this is the prequel to the first game and I cannot personally see where they can take the game next without moving away from the characters that Rockstar has masterfully created in these two games.

Overall, I can't recommend Red Dead Redemption 2 highly enough. It's a stunning achievement in both storytelling and gameplay and a must-play for anyone who enjoys immersive open-world games. Whether you're a fan of the Old West or just looking for an unforgettable gaming experience, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a game you simply can't miss. Easiest 10/10 I ever had to give a game.

I wanted to wait until I 100%ed the game before making a review and I am so glad I did. This game is one of the best RPGs I have ever played and has replaced Fallout New Vegas as my favorite (Fallout NV is still a better game calm down). After beating the game, I can safely say that much like NV, your decision has weight to how the quests/ story will end and FromSoft executed the quests perfectly to make them engaging and fun to do. It was so refreshing to see a game that wasn’t made to comply with some other western studios’ idea of open-world RPGs (skins/ gear you can buy, a leveling system where the enemies level with you, quest markers, etc.).

While this is no easy game it only makes it more rewarding. Every boss that kills you over and over only makes every victory sweater. The combat is built so that even though a boss is challenging it never feels like the boss has a cheap advantage over the player (Except Malenia). I am sure the only lesson western studios will take from the success of this game is making their upcoming games harder rather than putting out a finished game at launch.

This game has many notable places where the player can see from afar and this game has some of the best-designed areas I have seen in a while. When you take on a quest you aren’t just given a marker to show you where to go. YOU have to be the one to find it (or just look it up on YouTube). Even with no quest marker, the player is never really lost as they have the guidance of grace. You can see this at each sight of grace to point you in the right direction. I love this because you aren’t just zipping right to some unexplored place. You have to find it makes it much more rewarding.

The soundtrack is pretty all right. I love the music in this game. I may not be award-winning, but some tracks definitely sound like music from an award-winning game. All music complements the bosses that have their own tracks and these boss fights are beautiful. Malenia especially (don’t spoil it for yourself). Lore is fantastic but I wish there was more of it. I like how you can fill in the blanks yourself within the lore but I honestly just wanted more of it, so I hope the future DLC will bring it.

My Final thoughts? This is one of the all-time greats, 10/10 Game. One of the best RPGs I have ever had the pleasure of playing. It will be frustrating at times and when you start. If you get mad easily this might not be the game for you. For everyone else, this is a great buy, a great start to the souls-like genre, if you are unsure then try it out on a sale or read/ watch a review by someone who knows what they are talking about. Honestly, though this game won game of the year so buy it.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to get a tattoo for 100%ing the game because of a bet.

This game is great. The story, music, combat, and pacing are perfect. EXCEPT FOR ONE ASPECT. Spoilers ahead

Do you absolutely love it when the game's pacing screeches to a halt by crashing into a puppy orphanage?
NO?

Well the MJ missions are awful until the last one. The pacing just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dies on the ground like roadkill. I highly recommend that someone makes a mod to completely remove all of the MJ missions except the last one and replace them with cut scenes like they should have been, to begin with. The only reason that the last mission is good is that it isn't until the last mission that MJ finally decides to arm herself with a weapon. The rest is just meandering ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ distracting the guards that I could be watching with a cut scene. The Miles missions are better as you use his hacking app to take out drones and you face other enemies instead of the blind ass guards you deal with in the MJ missions. Like why not give MJ the hacking app as well. It would've made her missions much more interesting and less boring. I love her character but holy ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ she could've done so much more in her missions.

This game is a solid 8/10 because the story is relatively short, it was great, however, I wish they could've added an epilogue or 4th act. Once there is a mod to remove those slow-ass missions. Like, let us just do the stealth missions with Peter. 6/10 with the missions because they were easily the only bad part of the game.

This is one of (if not) the best rouge-like game(s) out there. You got binding of Issac which is amazing however one item can ruin your entire run. You got Hades with kick ass music and a story for the ages. However do you want to become a god and glass cannon speed run while detonating a moon? This is the game for you.

The music is admittedly not spectacular but still really good. The environments change with each run. and the items, while there are not as many as Issac all the items wont break your run (expect lunar items). They all just add on to your abilities until you become a god turning enemies to ash. 3 hours into a looping run and you will be sitting at a nice 2-3 fps while attacking, (I have a 3080, and when doing the teleporter event I got 10 fps 3 hours in).

This game is great and I am so glad that Hopoo made the switch to 3D to give the rouge-like genre a revamp and making this one of the most addicting experiences out there. I would also like to point out that the longer you take in an area makes the game harder as you progress, speed is key. It will eventually get to a point where the game itself starts laughing at you.

Get survivors of the void to make your next run broke as hell

9/10 because much like Terraria the wiki will have to be your best friend in order to progress more

Also a neat video showing how broke runs can become (SPOILERS): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SuCwnNT0oGk
