CANT PLAY ONLINE CONSTANT ISSUES SAYING IM OFFLINE WHETHER I HAVE A 2K ACCOUNT OR NOT GARBAGE

This is a sad, a great indie game ruined but terrible toxic employees and corporate greed. First we had the forced kernel anti-cheat a literal rootkit that has been shown to allow attacks into your pc, then the devs patching the game because they thought too many people were finding the game "too easy" basically trying to gatekeep with constant nerfs, then community managers attacking the player base injecting real world politics, and now outright making people only able to play with a playstation account and tracking your internet browsing and game habits to sell for profit while effectively banning players from countries not included in playstation account service areas. This is unacceptable breach of trust and an outright false advertisement to change the requirements to play the game months after launch, this kind of legal rug pull is insanely anti-consumer and disgusting.

Game is mid. Story is cringe and the attempt to satire "influencer" culture is particularly poor. Overall extremely misandrist game, no competant or heroic men exist at all, all men are punching bags or comical. However the worst part is the performance this game has huge frame time issues no matter the settings I can barely get it to run 60 fps with 6900 XT and Ryzen 7 3700x both OC'd it'll go from 250 fps to 50 fps regularly and having an "action" game that can't run smooth is pointless.

I got this given to me game as a prank. That said a cute aesthetic and animal crossing style game-play seemed ok. However, all this game is, is a pastel paint and glitter covered hairball hacked up for quick profits from the more left leaning for it's "inclusive" elements and art direction. This isn't a diverse game however, nor is it at all gender neutral. It is extremely feminine everything from the models to the animations are intended clearly for a female presenting person and female specific interests and tone. For instance you can make a male presenting character even give a beard and broad shoulders the minute you walk forward your hips sway run and your character tosses their hands in the air and daintily skips. This could easily been avoided with something like type a and b walking, instead you have to act and look effeminate only. So then it's easy to assume oh this game isn't for a masculine presenting straight white male, and that's fine. Don't pretend that's inclusive, however. The game specifically advertises a trans presenting bearded female and a few other ethnic or religious appearances. The ironic part is that the Hijab and all clothes are unlockables not available at the start, so you can only wear a tshirt. What if I'm a bearded man in a dress or want to be, if that's the gimmick why is it behind a time investment? Answer: if you are an LGBT presenting person and want to appear as you want you have to spend 2 hours and no longer can refund the game if you didn't enjoy it. This is extremely common exploitative behavior by some indie devs that will go so far as to have 1 hour and 58 minute tutorial. So by this point you probably think I'm just a hater outside the target demographic let me show you how those inside are being sold a lie.

This is "inclusive" Animal Crossing? Except Nintendo US localization made sure there is no gender specific language and clothing and items are gender neutral with anyone wanting to can look like or be anything. So the devs have taken a beloved game concept that is inclusive across any and all race and identity and instead made it for an extremely niche audience. It's like they watched the intro to Steven Universe played Animal Crossing and then suddenly went OMG! Cheesy quirky emotional ukulele included! There are some things which make it stand out but it's just the pet theme and that really isn't fleshed out much, but 5/5 effort you can pet a cat and put animals on your head.

Beyond that the game is glorified tech demo. There's an underlying game system but the world is lifeless and empty with stationary unblinking bbws and a male farmer who stare at you with painted on smiles. Genuinely this would work better as a horror game where each day things get more and more uncanny. Actually think the contrast with the cutesy theme colors and gameplay would make for a really good experience, but without some kind of interesting narrative it just feels like walmart brand animal crossing. You can do a lot with 12$ don't spend it on this game it wasn't even worth the prank. Like you can regularly find Left For Dead 2 for 7$ and there's tons of Animal Crossing fan games and mods and romhacks of various versions. Great game on it's own and full of nostalgia!

When I first saw it had gender-swapped characters I was apprehensive. I feared this would be another series ruined by trying to force in some form of social justice commentary or narrative. There is one noticeable jab at consumerist corporate feminism, I won't spoil it as it's somewhat clever. I also felt "they are going to sidetrack our main heroes in favor of of the gender swap" I was wrong. There is if you want to find it messages about female empowerment but that's if on a personal level you want to see it as such, Rivet is not just a female Ratchet but better in every way like bad writers would make, in fact that is pretty important to the plot she is different and not better so she has a decent amount of self doubt and anxiety but pushes through. Personally I found this level of grounding allowed you to relate to her story and progress. To put it into perspective Rivet actually is shown to be bigoted. Ratchet, Rivet, and Kt (In fact even Glitch does) all have really interesting character arcs, and while somewhat predictable and at times too lighthearted, particularly Ratchet sometimes comes off too nice in dialogue. Clank is there and he has something like an arc but it feels more shoehorned to me and rushed although with Rivet they together learn something important that goes with overall theme which circles around when the two female characters meet. This one is much more tonally like the reboot rather than the earlier games, there's not as many crass jokes or adult references although there are some. If you have children or younger family this would be a great game to share with them or get them into a series you enjoy. There are many features catering to newer players, collection and completion is much easier in particular and the puzzles feel patronizingly easy. There is enough here to enjoy as an adult but don't expect as complete an experience as the original PS2 games. The only thing I could say it is missing is a way to increase the difficulty of puzzles and better arena challenges. Please buy this game you will not regret it.

Very poor product atm wait until they'll work the bugs out, did everything I had too still couldn't get it to work. Requires you to downgrade your driver which then in turn breaks steam vr.

The entire series is great, if like beat em ups or ever wanted to simulate japanese nightlife this games for you.

I've played extensively this is THE ultimate 3d Fallout experience.

Great program, a absolute must for anyone looking for a final custom touch to their desktop.

Only problem I have is that I wish 30 and 60fps weren't behind a "advanced" menu. It's a 3d accelerated 2d application performance should be fine to have 60 as the standard.
