Probably the best RPG I've ever played. Consistent, realistic characters with believable motivations that all experience development over the course of a terrifically driven plot that is constantly moving forwards, combined with intense action-combat that constantly grows deeper over the course of the game, culminating in 6 extremely different playstyles that let you weave dozens of different options in frantic, fast-paced fights. Somehow, Tales of Berseria achieves the dream of having the gameplay 100% equally engaging as the plot. You'll constantly be wishing for more fights and more plot in equal measure. 9/10, wish the minigames had a bit more love put into them ;P

A classic with a popping art style and great variety of classes. Party play is weak but despite it the community is still strong. The REBOOT server is a lifesaver for this game!!!

As a MEGA FAN of both Fortune Street and Dokapon Kindgom (and of course Mario Party as well), I was easily convinced to buy this game off the reviews.

However as a few other negative reviewers have pointed out, I concur that this game is nothing as good as Fortune Street or Dokapon Kingdom. While the wacky charm is certainly on point, the actual gameplay is quite shallow and mostly boils down to just rolling high and running at the goalpost over and over with very little decision-making for the players.

Even if you like Fortune Street and Dokapon Kingdom I do not recommend this game. It's tragically a very shallow diceroller-- I really wish it was as good as the reviews suggested but it just doesn't have any strategic complexity, there's really just nothing going on but rolling dice every turn with nothing to break it up.

Absolutely love the writing and items, reminds me of good ol Dungeons of Dredmor. However the lack of skills is a total turn off... No variety to the game when each class only has 6 skills to pick from and you're basically forced to multiclass to build out a skillset. Very little synergy as well. I would absolutely love this game if it leaned into more skills and customization for your character.

The best ARPG of all time, period. Dunno what the ♥♥♥♥ Diablo 4 is gonna have to do to top this.

Fun if aging

Not as good as PoE but the best runner-up from this new generation of ARPGs.

An absolutely tremendous game. As good as Slay the Spire was, this is easily 10x better. Love the faction design, gameplay loop, and multiplayer integration. You are doing yourself a complete disservice if you do not buy this game. It's that good and worth every penny.

Quirky but I like it. I'm glad there are still devs out there willing to make innovative card games. More polish to everything (card creator, UI) might make this gem shine. Even as is the novelty alone really makes it worth trying, I had a blast.
