This game is too good. There are speedruns where you get to complete the game in 40 hours or so. Don't do it that way. Take your time to understand the designs, weapons, cultists and stuff. It's rewarding as ♥♥♥♥. I'll mark the spoilers wherever they appear.

It is not a typical assassin game per say, Well you do begin it as an assassin but the game has some intense battle moments and it is very nicely executed.

PROS
1. Fighting mechanics are so good. I found the mechanics more realistic and more bloodier than the Witcher 3 and it is super good!
2. Assassination builds works! I heard most of the negative reviews that the game is not exactly an 'assassin's creed' because all you do is fight. I did a maxed warrior/assassin build on my first run and assassin build works perfectly. Patience is the key. It's not like Unity where a guard mere 2 foot away won't notice you assassinating someone. You need to plan! I know! Rocket science! Planning for assassinations!
3. Ship mechanics are good too. I love the ost when you board the enemy ships!
4. The skills are nice too. You really need some quick hands and dodging an enemy's attack feels rewarding every time the frame freezes for slow motion!
5. The best skins in the game are those obtained by grinding. Daughters of Arthemis Crew skin and Phobos Abraxas are my favorite
6. The conquest battles are super good - both in rewards and just the way they designed it.
7. Mercenary and the Cult system is extremely rewarding. Some of my best gears and engravings are from mercenaries.
8. Everyone loves the Greek legendary beasts!
9. Main odyssey quest line has a nice story.

CONS
1. Difficulty adjustments sucks. You can be level 48 and be one-shotted even by rogue bandits who are at level 50. But it's not the other way around. WP Ubisoft.
2. Maintaining a gear should've been a thing; but that's probably just me. Upgrading costs become too costly and you get a weapon with better stats anyways.
3. ♥♥♥♥ that farting legendary ♥♥♥♥♥♥ boar. ♥♥♥♥ YOU.
4. NPC dialogues can be a pain.
5. The game can get repetitive to an extent that you get pissed off. A new area; guess what, you have 3 quests and each has 3 support quests where you raid forts, kill xyz and stuff in literally every region. The main quest says 'Talk to ABC' but guess what you need to raid and loot 7 forts just to progress that bit and it sucks sometimes; but idk, it feels worth it after you're done with the game.

SOME TIPS?
S. Had sex with every possible NPC. You should too.
1. The first mercenary. I still remember the ♥♥♥♥♥♥. You're new to the game and that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a pain. Arrows work pretty well against him
2. Recruit mercenaries once your ship is online. They have some pretty nice perks and can be used for one of the ingame's ability 'Call to Arms' (they don't die btw)
3. Plan the assassinations with Ikaros. It's important, really. It's not Unity. You need some planning and strategy here.
4. The Cult of Cosmos exists from the moment you launch the game first time and so these are roaming in the world. You might find a cultist dead randomly.
5. Gather wood please. Your ship would devour wood like a malakas glutton.
6. Taming alpha animals is a thing. You can complete some quests very easily with them.
