I mean yeah if you like metroid style survival games that also happen to have the look and style of Half Life it can't get much better than this. There's something that clicks about how the whole game works. There's lots of things to do in order to survive, but with the right team, it's very satisfying to see your progress.

pretty nice

After playing the whole series I can safely say that the games do a very good job of accurately reading a person which I find strange because I didn't think these questions could really tell that much about someone but I guess once you take into account how many questions these games really do ask it would make sense. On two occasions these games nearly brought me to tears. The positive messages they send are outstanding and I'm willing to support this studio even further just based on the impact these games have left on me. I've never been an RPGMaker kinda guy but I'll be making an exception for Chasing Demons, I think...

Not better than the original necessary, the eating sounds make me pretty uncomfy. But that's alright, I'm here for more Subnautica, and that's exactly what I got :)

this game is badass

What a wondrous masterpiece this game is. The art design is one that I find so memorable and gorgeous and perfect for this game. The soundtrack is one which captures the mystery and yet panicked nature of the deaths so beautifully (and is one I listen to regularly, believe it or not). And the gameplay...it's so unique and refreshing and I wish that I could experience more of it. Sure, there's not much in the ways of gameplay aside from watching and making observations, but I've never seen a mystery/detective game operate in such a special and captivating way. The story is smart, well thought out, and the mystery is so well complimented again by the ambiguity provided by the art style and the color scheme...god. I'd have to argue that this could be my favorite game of all time. Not for its emotional impact or message, but for its masterful craftsmanship. To me, this is Lucas Popes' magnum opus. This is his timeless masterpiece, and I expect to come back multiple times after forgetting the story just to re-experience it. I cannot recommend this challenging, gorgeous, immersive, and captivating work of art enough.
