Started as an interesting idea and fun party gameplay, but has disolved into streamer focused balancing instead of interesting new content.

Fun gunplay and great graphics as you would expect from a Borderlands title, but is lacking almost every other aspect.

Writing: The while the writing has its peaks (the midgame of Promethea and Eden-6) the ending is a massive asspull and puts an unfavorable character as the hero. They also throw away the coolest characters they had to work with and kept Lilith's lame ass while giving the other BL1 characters little to no screentime.

Skills and Upgrades: The skill trees feel skeletal with mostly ".06% boost to x" options and offers very few changes to gameplay aside from the option to change your ability wherever. The Siren feels like the most fleshed out of all 4 current characters, but that isnt saying much. Not much interesting synergy worth investing the time to get.

Bosses: most of the bosses are a complete pushover on normal, and I have yet to play any TVHM in favor of trying out each character. Flavor wise theyre kind of fun, but seem very lacking with two or three notable exceptions.

UX: I will say that the UI is easily navigable and the graphics and sound effects are incredible (the music isnt quite so stimulating).

Buggy and occasionally crashes, but its a 20 year old game. If it were fixed it would be my favorite game of all time and Ive played it since the original came out, but I guess we have to wait for AOM Definitive

Brought back the fun from Dark Souls 1

One of the best, if not THE best game on Steam. Lovely art style, beautiful soundtrack, and of course amazing gameplay. Ridiculously challenging and great to play with friends. 15/10

I love this game! It has such an intuitive and flowing feel to it. It just makes you want to play more! I especially love the difficulty of the Arcade Mode, where you get to play through the entire game without dying. The longer you play the more weapons you unlock, and finding the secrets is so rewarding. I really want to spread the word about this game and would love for it to get some attention! I'd rate it a 10/10!

Great game, although the "pay for neat stuff" is sort of in your face.
