Coffee.
Waffles.
My grandmother used to tell me stories about a Denny's.
A place of cooking.
Where the master chef served a balanced breakfast of bacon, syrupy waffles, and coffee.
But that all changed when the coffee machine broke.
Only the master chef, balancer of all foods knew how to fix the coffee machine.
But when the Denny's needed him most, he called in sick.
100 minutes passed, and the coffeeless armies were ready to riot.
2 minutes ago, my coworker went to try and calm the armies with discounts on prices, leaving me and Jerry to look after the counter.
Some people believed that the master chef was never sick, and that he was going to quit and leave Denny's.
But I haven't lost faith.
I still believe that somehow, the master chef will return to fix the coffee machine.
