A wonderful "expansion" to the first game, i have more hours in it than WH2. I would only get it on sale though. Combat is very well done, a nice twist on total war style game play.

There seems to be an army for every play style.

Diplomacy in the campaign seems useless and that might be me not getting systems but if they have over 400 relations for you they should want to do a trade deal or at least be friends. again this is coming from a EU4 player who likes that sort of thing.

all in all 8/10, would recommend to a friend if game is on sale
