God of War Review: A Chaotic Symphony of Dad Jokes and Axe-Chucking Mayhem

Let's start with the combat. Imagine Kratos as a lumberjack who got tired of trees and decided gods and monsters were a better target 🪓. His weapon of choice? The Leviathan Axe, a frost-bitten, boomerang-wannabe that's as satisfying to throw as it is to watch return 🔄. The axe mechanics alone could win this game an Olympic gold medal in the 'object throwing' category 🥇. The sound it makes when it returns to Kratos' hand is akin to Thor's hammer but with more icy flair and less Scandinavian blond ⚡.

But now, let's address the not-so-golden aspect of the storyline: Atreus' character development 🎢. As charming as he can be, there are moments when the kid is just plain annoying 😣. Remember the part where he discovers he's a god? Instead of a mind-blowing revelation leading to profound character growth, Atreus turns into a cocky, insufferable brat 🗣️. His sudden personality shift feels forced and inconsistent, like the writers threw a tantrum into the script for dramatic effect 🤯.

In short, God of War is a masterclass in blending heart-pounding action with the softer, fuzzier aspects of godly parenting 👨‍👦‍👦. It's a must-play for anyone who enjoys epic storytelling 📖, axe-throwing 🪓, and the awkward yet tender moments that only a demigod dad and his curious son can deliver 🌟.

Overall I am happy with this purchase but was expecting a bit more because it was hyped and all who played it on PS was saying that it is the best game about spiderman but sadly for me I cannot say that for sure. I was very disappointed about all the bosses in the game they were not very unique. Dodge dodge wait dodge and spam Attack I do not know. Expecting something more maybe I am wrong. Leave some comments let's discuss

Game has some bugs which are not fixed!!! . Mission with lift, I was stuck in the air and the only way to get out was to respawn

👉 Having two different special abilities(Ultimate abilitie) for most characters.

👉 Fast Travel from anywhere

👎Negative:
👉 Season PASS 1, Season PASS 2, Designers cut, Directors Cut, Diamond key???(WHYYYYYYYY??????).
👉 Ava.
👉 Tyrene.
👉 Doing nothing in Sanctuary, waiting for cast scenes to end and run away from it🗿🗿🗿.
👉 Strange glorification of Tannis, who I always saw as Clown
👉 Ruined or missed opportunities with the Borderlands 2 protagonists, (Zer0 exception),
👉 It’s obvious a lot of content was either completely redone or cut entirely given how long it took to make.
👉 Boss fights are good, but actually you are doing the same thing all the time wait for a new phase of the boss.


I have more negative points than positives but I still think it’s a fun game and I’d recommend it if you can pass it with friends.
