Pretty good game so far, because even though I have multiple characters, each play-through is a little bit different due to how I've played with my friends.

It feels like a rescue sim, but you create your own ships, helicopters, planes, and other vehicles from parts in the editor, then test them out in various scenarios.

So far, I like the idea of the game.

The idea, mind you.

In practice though, attempting to find a nice spot to put your house down at is an effort in frustration. Everywhere you could potentially find to start working on a house already has the shell of one, or the next spot, or the next.

Don't even get me started on waiting for the crafting table to churn out items from the raw materials.

I have played this game for a bit this morning, and plan to update my review as I play.

I would recommend this game to friends.

The only downside right now is the player controls (when you move around as the players) are kind of clunky, but this obviously is early access, so those eventually will get smoothed out.

I've played this game so much, my original cd's don't work any more.

While it has had a rocky start, the devs seem to have it together in terms of updates.

As of right now, the game needs a LOT of work. Just putting that out there. It obviously is in Early Access for that reason.

To be fair, ArmA 3 is the best BI game since ArmA 2.
It has so much more to offer, both mods-wise as well as possibilities.
The mission editor is very well thought out compared to ArmA 2's.
Most, if not all of the weapons and vehicles are futuristic enough that as a player, they look and behave realisticly enough to be believable.

A few things that I also feel enhance the gameplay are the RHS unit and faction mod, as well as the ACE3 medical mod and the ACRE Radio mod.

Other than that, having played well over 1,000 hours on this, anyone purchasing this game will find it well worth your money.

I was playing on my Local Server last night.

I started on the West Coast.

First Life: Unlocked Stone Hatchet and Torch, died to Giant Feathery Bird Level 2.

Second Life: Unlocked pants, shirt, and campfire, watched the sun go down, saw a Giant Fin in the water. Got on the train to Nopesville. Died to one of the acid spitting lizards.

Third Life: Unlocked simple building floor, died to another Giant Feather Bird Level 2.

10/10 would die again.

To all you fellow players, this game is set in the Battlecruiser Universe, which Derek Smart created 25 years ago. I believe this game has the potential to overrun Planetside 2, as well as to be a solid game. Anyone with a brain in their heads knows this.
