This is a honest review for Champions of Regnum. I have more than a thousand hour on record on this game just not on steam.
I started playing around 2008 on my old laptop. It was not a really good laptop but you could play Regnum back than pretty smooth. It was one of my first MMORPG I have ever touched and till now I like it very much. But just because I link it with good memories and friends I made back then.
The game now in 2020 is outdated and the graphics looks terrible. The combat is ok. To have fun you need to be lvl 50+ and to achieve that you need to do leveling quite a lot. The leveling is a pain in the a**. From lvl 35+ there is no Questline. So you need to grind mobs for hours and hours.
When you reach endgame there is also nothing to do. For good PvP (RvR) or PvE you need players and the german speaking server is empty. On the english speaking server there are just some active players but not enough to call it a MMORPG.
I would recommend not to play this game anymore even if i felt in love with it. The developers do not care about the game anymore and afterall it is just a waste of time for anyone who is still playing or wanna start to play it. There are better free to play MMORPG on the market right now than CoR. Sadly...
