Ulysses is such a great and compelling character at heart but I feel his verbose monologues can lose its meaning on first listen. He's mildly cryptic in his relations to you but it's better on a re-listen to really understand his reasoning for everything. His backstory and motives are very interesting to learn about especially with the Courier's past mixed in there. Gameplay wise, this dlc has some of the best. Greatly designed play area where it feels way more open then any other area, especially for this game where there can be oddly placed and arbitrary invisible walls. Still, a great dlc to end New Vegas off with and thematically exceptional.

Also ♥♥♥♥ the deadlines for robbing Ulysses as a base game companion.

What the ♥♥♥♥ kinda mentats were these writers on when they made this. Easily some of the best writing and characters in this game with a plethora of objectives and areas to explore. Feels weird with such a tone shift into light-hearted stupid humor but very welcome in a game like this. W dlc and easily worth the playthrough every run

The literal only saving graces of this dlc in my mind are Joshua Graham and the pretty environment. The story is super straighforward which isnt a bad thing but it doesnt have any tension at all. Kinda just run through it in an hour and Woah! you're done. Easily the weakest dlc in my mind and just a hollow experience throughout.

I appreciate the effort they went to shake up the gameplay but the execution is middling at best. Good writing and characters though with a strong theme/message underneath it all but man do i not want to play this ever again. Overall its fine but you're gonna either love it or hate it.
