Civilization 7 feels like an early access game rather than a full release

  • Terrible UI. Finding information is much harder than in previous games, making the gameplay frustrating. Essential details are missing or hidden, forcing players to spend twice as much time just to understand what's going on.
  • Weak AI. Playing against it is not engaging—bots make no effort to stop you, even when you're one step away from victory without a single military unit.
  • Good graphics. However, buildings look too similar, making the map harder to read. The developers should improve visual clarity.
  • Interesting new mechanics. Age transitions, challenges, victory points, armies, and generals add fresh gameplay elements.

!!! Overpriced for an incomplete game. There are only three ages, though it’s obvious the game was designed for at least four. Firaxis and 2K deliberately cut the Information Age, likely to sell it later for more money. This shows their blatant disregard for players.
