An excellent game which has seen the developer truly redeem themselves after an over-promised and under-delivered launch. Continuous updates and support have seen so much content and amazing features added to the game. It has become the definitive best space 'arcade-sim' game I have played.

So many engaging features and none of them are pushed upon you, explore space as you like and engage with the systems as you see fit, you will find depth and fun in any area you wish to. It now finally feels like a labor of love, and the updates don't appear to be stopping.

This game improves on the first in so many ways while still managing to keep that quirky divinity feel.
Combat is fantastic, the writing is excellent and the voice acting top-notch.
I had to tear myself away from the game to write this and will be going straight back to playing after.

If you are at all a fan of classic RPG's this is simply a 'must play'.

Edit: After 30 more hours into the game I'm still exploring and experimenting as much as the first 30. The end is seems to be just as far away, and unlike most games of this genre, that is an extremely exciting aspect. There is so much content to discover and the writing is as good as it was in the opening hours.

So much better than Fifa, and finally a decent PC version.
Runs so smoothly, looks great and the football is the best I've played.

Missing licenses are irritating but easy to fix by modding.
Goalkeepers are a bit rubbish but I guess that may be fixed at some point. It doesn't really ruin the experience.

A really great game that puts EA to shame.

Great fun single player or with friends, the enhanced versions look great and add some nice features, The story is actually quite enjoyable and the side-quests, while not much more than 'go here, do this', still manage to stay fun. The Following is one of the best expansions I've played in recent years.
