I don't want Sony to control a game I bought on Steam. Especially when they're the closest to the United States government when it comes to data breaches and stupidity.

The reason for this is to protect players... If someone is being an @s$, then leave and find a new game. There are several ways to implant a temporary penalty system to fix the abuse with the kicking system, too. If someone hurts your fee fees there is a mute button for that.
