This game used to be good but unfortunately many years ago was handed over to an incompetent, useless, twitter obsessed clown of a dev. What used to be a game about being a tribal became a game about spending a week of your time with screaming discord children monopolizing loot and raiding 12 bases for 12 crossbows at 4am. The youtubers don't have a problem spending 12 hours a day playing this, they get paid. The peons they attract however just exist to boost this terrible disaster of a game lol. People blame the community for that but it's math even a 12 year old could understand:
1 man crew? 1 person farms for 1 persons BP's
5 man crew? 5 people farm 1 person has BP's
Most critiques of this game have as a footnote: "Oh yeah people get end game gear day 1" That's not a footnote, that's a tell tale sign this game is a dumpster fire. Blame the game... and honestly the players too lol.

If you like a cesspool of 14 year old sperg kids and basement dwellers screaming on discord then purchase this game and stay in it. Please.
