Very complex and detailed. The game is more about general surviving than killing zombies. You aren't a hero, You are a regular survivor that needs food, water, heat, entertainment and all those human needs (Think sims with zombies) The game is based on the idea that you will die sooner or later, And your playthrough is the story of how you f'd up and died.
Its very frustrating and unforgiving. Be ready to rage at the game because you got too relaxed and forgot the check a corner and got bitten and lost 8 hours of game progression. And thats how the game keeps you on your toes constantly, All it takes is one small slip up and your character is dead. Don't get the game if you like powertrips or easy games, Because you will die several times, either in silly f ups or in epic last stands.

The negative here is that while the game is complex and very detailed it can feel simple at times, Like the mechanics and tools are there, but many aspects feel lacking or just worthless. Once you get over the hard part and managed to survive long enough to build a proper safehouse and grind some skills the game gets boring very quickly. There isn't much reason for you to leave the safety of your safehouse once you got your farm, rain collectors and generator set up. BUT the devs seem to put their heart into the game, And even if its very much worth the money in its current state i am sure its going to be golden once they release 1.0.

PS. Remeber to turn off the oven. And give your wife a pillow.

Its a bloody pre beta game, Should not have been released yet, not even as early acess. The product they gave us looks and feels nothing like what they showed us in the trailers.

Constantly crashes, Unbalanced and exploitable as heck, The multiplayer is absolute garbage, bugs around every corner. The graphics are better than Warband but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its ugly at times. The faces give me nightmares. Combat is both better and worse compared to warband, Its lacking and is extremely unbalanced. (I like the shield improvements though, even if the shields are made of glass currently)
At first glance the campaign looks good, like the world is alive and full off content - Its not, After you play for a few hours you will release just how big and empty the world is, And that there is only about 8-12 different quest variants, And how all "cool" features are broken or just not implemented properly.

BUT i will remain hopeful that they will in time fix this mess, I will come back and try this game again when its been fully released and i really wish i can give this game a positive review then. But i will probably not forgive Talesworld for releasing this game in this current state, at full price. Even if they manage to fix it. (Makes me wonder if they had financial issues and needed money quick?)

Bannerlord has potential, but alot of things has to improve before i will consider this a good game, Because right now i feel cheated.
I never write reviews, And i never thought i would write a negative one even, but this game left a really sour taste in my mouth and left me feeling abandoned, salty, upset and alittle bit peckish.

While i think the micro is taken abit too far at times, The attention to detail makes up for it. Hard to learn, Almost impossible to master, But the best RTS war simulator around.
