Still the best regular motorsport racing game there is (affordable). I'm shocked at the negative reviews. Repeat cars? Sure there is, yell about it when they take the classics out, too. Fewer tracks? An additional track has already been released, patience. Long time Forza racer, since Forza 2 and had been waiting a long time for this between all the Horizon crap. Seems a lot of complaints are based around not knowing how to drive and relying on others to provide a perfect multiplayer experience, people will crash however they want and there is nothing Turn 10 can do about that...pisses me off too, whatever! The tuning ability is still unbeatable and very life like. Try it on gamepass first if you can, if you understand cars you shouldn't be disappointed.

I absolutely love the additional freight offered in this pack. However, the 40mph really kills it. Just last week I passed 5 turnkey trailers in succession going 70mph on I-81. Second con being the trashy driving of the escort vehicles. Slamming the brakes on a 90 ton truck, seriously?? Back to doing more Special Transport lol

Edit: The lead escort almost always slams the brakes at the end of a transport. If you veer to the other side of the road so you can clear a turn without hitting obstacles, the lead escort may stop because you aren't "following" them anymore. A pedestrian vehicle cut-off my lead escort causing a crash and reset to last checkpoint.

ALWAYS TURN YOUR HEADLIGHTS ON BEFORE YOU START YOUR TRANSPORT. The first cop you pass that's not an escort will ticket you.

I've finally been able to clock some hours on the game after a launch issue. I think it's a great game overall including a nice variety of cargo and major cities.

However. I'm disappointed that it's called "American Truck Simulator" but we have to pay for each state expansion, how does that make any sense at all? Also, the AI is dumb as all hell and the ticketing/fine system is worse than living in Nazi Germany. I get the speed limits are realistic, but for a video game 25mph is way too slow!

I won't stop playing the game because I love sims and this one isn't terrible, but it definitely needs some work along with it's good.

The game is pretty great thus far. You shouldn't expect too much more from a game in Early Access that also provides you with a timeline of release dates as they have. They tell you what to expect!

I've currently completed all of the research possible and have a 24 hour self-sustaining base. I only have extended space travel left to try but from what I understand is just more of the starting planet, maybe with some more obstacles. I'm excited for the new additions to come as they seem like they are going to be more in depth.

That's really it. Open world game play is pretty strong. I think if they actually cared about the game it might come out of early access EVENTUALLY and stop being so laggy. Needs some TLC for sure.

Yes, it is the same as Civ5 but, no, it's also not the same as Civ5. The gameplay is basically the same as Civ5 but with a lot more realistic features, like it makes more sense in a real life way. The actually play-through itself is also finally realistic. You can't just sit there for a couple hours and beat the game however you'd like anymore, you actually have to have some strategy or the AI will come after you. Regardless of how similar it may seem to Civ5, buy it. Because it similar but an entirely different game.

I know as of now I've put in 4.2 hours of the game but, I think this is a very worth while game if you're into trains. This game can a be a little challenging but it is also extremely realistic. Come drive some of the world's trains! I'm just not sure if I'll ever buy ALL of the DLC...

9.5 hours update...I still feel strongly about this game. Still worth my money and challenging me to do better. More hours to be spent this week!

I'm going to start off with that this isn't the best game in the world, nor should you ever expect it to be. That's not what this is about. However, my friend and I found that we absolutely could not stop playing this game for hours at a time. It may seem like it could get very repetitive but, giving both my friend and I are are car fanatics, it just seems like we could have enough hours under our belt by the time we get bored of the game, if that ever happens. It's your chance to build a shop at your own pace so you can customize your cars. Also, it's worth getting the gold edition, the DLC cars are great!

A different outtake versus your Fallout 4 world but, not as closed as your normal first person shooter. This is a great game to grab a buddy and run through your enemies with. Action packed with plenty of adventure and story to go with it. With the ability to roam freely, do what you want. At the end of the day it may not be your favorite game but, you won't regret or think you've wasted your time play this game.

This game is addicting! Even though you don't have to actually play for very long (because the game is always making money), you are sure to get hooked! It does has it's slow points where you might feel like giving up but, let those pass by as the game pace various depending on how much money you actually want to make. Stand by and be patient, be an AdVenture Capitalist!
