Was having a blast until the sour realization that some features that were initially promised were not even added nor do they intend on adding them as the project is now abandoned. Huge disappointment.

Dont get me wrong, the game itself is nice. But EA should not be getting a single cent

Bit buggy here and there but nothing gamebreaking.

Been tracking this game for the last months and bought it right after release. Not disappointed.

If you're like me and find relaxation in tinkering with guns while listening to country music with a glass of whiskey at your side, this game is for you.

As sad as I am to say this, this prequel to the original game did not live up to my expectations in the slightest. It felt lacking in content and possibilities when compared to the first part, and to make it clear, the first game was amazing, which might be part of the reason why the bar was set so high for its this one.

I have just finished the game in less than six hours and I have to say, it barely qualifies as a separate title, I'd take it as a DLC any day and would not mind paying for it either for all the emotions that the first game made me go through. However, hoping to get more of that goodness out of this has left me utterly disappointed.

The ride levels, while aesthetically pleasing, felt unnecessary and did not contribute much to the game's atmosphere or story. Their awkward camera angles had me dying over and over and just felt overall annoying. And quicktime events? Does anyone really like quicktime events anymore?

There's so little in Road 96: Mile 0 contributing to the lore that once again, it does not qualify as a separate title in my opinion.

SPOILERS BELOW.

Not only did new recurring characters NOT appear to make any significance to the storyline, the old ones apart from Zoe felt barely touched upon. Remember Jarod? Take a sticker, see his cameo for 2 seconds, forget him. Stan and Mitch? Just a single headline on a newspaper. Fanny? About 1 minute.

Maybe it's just me, but the feeling of being constantly on the road was a big part of Road 96, as it is in the name. You know how much of that we got in this sequel? Exactly two last missions.

The devs have completely dumped certain aspects of the original game as well. Food no longer serves any real purpose, you collect cassettes only as collectibles but cant actually use them as you drive along the highway because well, you dont. Player choice? Not all that much. Survival aspects? Gone. Payphones? Decorative.

All in all, it was rushed and disappointing. And I hate to say this, because I loved the original game so much.

Awesome game, if me and the boys were retired we'd be playing this nonstop.

I've first discovered this in 2016 on another platform and I just keep coming back. This genuinely feels like one of the best games out there in terms of how immersive it is and what huge whirlwind of emotions it brings out, ranging from the feeling of desperation to hopefulness and gratitude.

It shows a completely different perspective than what we are used to in gaming, a tiny bit of what non-combatants caught up in a war-torn region must put up with on a day to day basis. The atmosphere in this game is breathtaking and I cannot get enough of it, easily one of my all times favorites.

Lastly, it is worth to put it out there that the game developers are continuously supporting the victims of the war-torn countries with the funds they are getting from the game. Huge thank you to the devs and hope to see more content or a sequel in the future.
