Distressed Laughter

A generational game defining a brand new genre. Many have been made after it, copying and iterating on its formula. Many have been chasing its glory but few have come close to matching its splendor.

A very fun and light hearted game where you, a turnip boy, commit tax evasion and experience all the shenanigans that come with it.

Really does make you feel like an anime swordsman. Unique gameplay leads to an almost Hotline Miami experience during combat while the story itself handles dialogue in a rather interesting way that is backed by the gameplay.

The scariest non-horror game I've played.

If you've ever wanted to play a game that is the definition of hype, get this game. Rounds often devolve into mindless screaming, especially with friends. Hit, bunt, and yeet your way to victory.

Lethal League Blaze takes the original game and improves upon it with new mechanics and a fresh coat of paint. If you played the original, there are a few things that have changed since the original. The new life mechanic might be a bit weird at first but it is a welcome change as the speed of the ball will vary how much health is lost upon getting hit. If you want old school lethal league, you can always change it in the options menu when playing with friends. The other major mechanic is the items buff which acts as a random buff you get when the ball hits it. Again, it can be turned off in the options but this adds randomness to the game which is like playing smash with items on. Everyone can now double jump (except Doombox) which adds more verticality to the game and helps many of the original cast that had problems getting to the max height of the stage. Balls can be hit as normal but now there is a new downstrike hit that can either angle the ball slightly left or right or just straight down. The throw mechanic catches the ball for a brief second before throwing it, often much faster than the original speed before returning to said speed after bouncing off the wall. It can only be tossed horizontally or straight down. All the original characters retain their feel with the new additional mechanics. The new characters also feel amazing to play and add their own unique playstyles to the mix. All in all, I'd say this is a good buy at its price and you don't need to go back to the original to enjoy this version.
