Fantastic take on Mega Man X gameplay, with a wonderful cast of characters and villains. The Co-op is really fun, too!

The controls are very tight, especially compared to 20XX. This game feels leagues better to play.

The graphics are nice and clean, they look like something you would've seen made during the PSX era Mega Man X games, but with some interesting modern effects.

I enjoyed taking on the secrets this game has after I got comfortable enough to win quite a few runs.

Fun game, with beautiful and fluid pixel art. I found the story really intriguing. At least, until the very last boss. What a strange twist, haha... All these bad choices and lost life... for what appears to be a quota from boss. lol

I feel like Metroidvania isn't the right choice of genre for this game; Cave Story would be a closer comparison, in my eyes. This feels like a spiritual sequel to Cave Story, to which I'm not honestly sure what genre that game is.

So, fun exploration-lite, clever puzzle-platformer, great boss fighting game.

Really fun action RPG that can be played solo, or online. I got a few minor complaints, but overall, this game is fantastic, and I can't wait for it to grow more through updates.

Elden Ring 2.

I was impressed with the amount of content there was to chew on.

This is very difficult, though. If you had a hard time with some endgame areas in Elden Ring, such as Mountaintop of the Giants, the Consecrated Snowfield, Mohgwyhn Palace, the Haligtree and Elphelt. and didn't enjoy those area's difficulties, then this won't really be the expansion you'll enjoy.

A lot of the boss fights in this expansion ask for very precise timing and learning patterns. You will die, a lot.

But if you are looking for a fresh challenge, new equipment, some awesome new weapon types, new everything; this is it.

Honestly, the exploration was my favorite part of the DLC, next to the bosses. I feel like From Software's team really hit their stride with this DLC.

I liked this game a lot.

The characters are charming, the art style is very pleasing, and the story has a lot of good twists.

I only wouldn't recommend this game if you don't exactly like puzzle games, or dialog heavy games. This is definitely no action game. I would also NOT recommend this game if you don't enjoy any form of storytelling.

I like how Sega really takes strides with its franchises' story, and mentions plenty of callbacks. This game definitely caters to Sonic fans, but you can just trial and error your way through if you don't know much about the Blue Blur, and the logic for the puzzles is VERY sound, at least in my opinion.

Also, there are platforming segments, but if you've never played a Sonic game before, or feel like you don't enjoy platforming, there are accessibility options to help out, ranging from Invincibility, No Pitfalls, or lowering the speed or goal amount to win the segment.

I will not lie, some of the platforming segments took me a few good tries to get right, and I do love me a good platformer.

I had a good time with this. Took me 2 hours to beat. I recommend this.
