I can't believe I forgot to leave a review for my favorite shooter! Want something like Doom with Borderlands weapons or Diablo gen mods and endless gameplay? This is it. I'm not a fan of replaying game for the sake of it. I hate predictable enemy placement and static builds. This game is a blast to reply/grind, I think I did the story close to 10 times and countless of the different types of "endgame" content (missions, arena challenges).

Enemy design and variety is great, movement is fun and fast, and the gunplay is incredibly impactful. Can't really comment on melee combat as my build is basically the Quake roster with elemental damage added where it fits. The gore/dismemberment and explosions are extremely satisfying to. And no: enemies are not bullet sponges, even in ng+++++++, you just need some damage mods and a bit of crits or ele penetration.

I wrote a thank you email to the devs when the credits rolled on my first run, not expecting I would stick around for this long afterwards! It's probably the last game I will even uninstall from my computer.
