if you loved the first one you will definitely love this one, the game is massive and will get more massive with each update, really feels like a AAA title with the amount of content introduced. as of writing this I beat the game but still havent explored everything because of the amount of content

while the gameplay is very similar to Hades 1, it is not the same, boons are very varied and different in terms of abilities and bonuses so you have to think and choose carefully unlike in Hades 1 where you choose the highest damage option, weapons are a mixed bag, there are 6 weapons in total in which 3-4 mele are fun to play with while the ranged ones are meh, but that is my opinion you might like using those ranged weapons

the characters are interesting and bosses are fun to fight, the dialogue is also very nice and well acted, the story is very captivating and made me sit on the edge of my seat wanting more only to be hit with "to be continued" lol.

the areas are beautifully designed and lively, the animations are smooth and fluid, the sounds are crisp and satisfying (just like Sekiro's deflect), and dont get me started on the OST, it so gooooooood and makes you fired up, you will not hate any track in this game!

as for performance, I have a pretty hefty rig so i didnt encounter any frame losses or stuttering but i would assume lower end hardware could face problems, the amount of animations especially in areas dense with enemies might cause frame drops. so far I only got 2 game crashes (one made me lose my save file but i hade steam cloud to help), no bugs or glitches during gameplay whatsoever so you can rest easy, this game isnt cyberpunk lol

overall i would give this early access an 8.5/10 , still needs some heavy balancing and gameplay reworks.
