oh yea sure
in general - make sure what your enemy is capable of, when focussing on the enemy sniper for instance. You need to learn how to dodge and trick him with using obects if 1v1ing. A good sniper will take you out in no time. Make sure you are ALWAYS at the side where the enemy snipe may stand.
If you're facing enemys 1v1 in an awkward position you need to know what there base movement speeds are and how to predict on them
If you're scoping them really close, its important to mnow
: for sniper v sniper i recommend the sniper only servers, and headshot only, it learns you to dodge and teaches you how to quickscope
otherwise practice on highlander maps are really usefull as well, it's so much more easy if you know how fast every class moves so you can predict it on your aim
be always on the spot where you have plain sight to there combo when they're pushing in
try to be covered by the sentrygun (for gpit) and for other maps as well, try to play with your team
playing without a crosshair is usefull too, you will learn to focus on the enemy's head without being focusses in
so when you zoom in your cursor is near the head
and practice, for close range scouts etc
get used to the jarate and bushwacka, to kill dumb scouts who're entering a corner, be ready to jarate them before they can see you and just rush in with your buswhwacka if they turn the corner
practicing on good jarate use is very helpful as well
