Not going to say much, been on a bad streak and getting flamed for losing, but im betting small on nip.

Method vs ex-Elevate

My odds: 50/50
Recommended bet: Small-Medium on method.
My bet: 7% on method.


Method: A team that has always been considered a team that has some serious upset potential, but not up quite to the “top tier” teams of NA so to speak. This team has been together for quite a while, without many lineup changes besides toy, who has not really done much to make the team better or worse. Silent, the main awper for Method on the other hand, has been on quite a tear recently and if he can neutralize, or at least contend with the awp of ptr, then method will have a much better chance.


ex-Elevate: A team that has recently formed that on paper has quite a stunning lineup with some serious fraggers. Especially RoRoo, stewie and ptr. If these three are hitting their shots, they can really make the lives of method hard. Another thing to take into consideration that they have only been a team for a few weeks and thus I would go as far as to say this team is only a PUG at the moment. This ex-elevate team has been doing quite well in scrims, but in my eyes that really does not matter what so ever and has nothing to take away from it besides the amount of practice they have been putting in. In terms of league play, they almost got upset in ESEA PREMIER by CSGORumble(source: https://play.esea.net/teams/53204). CSGORumble is a team full of mediocre to “bad” players. All things said, a team with this much potential can always show up, regardless of previous results.

Conclusion: Don’t get me wrong ex-elevate has a lot of potential, but I don’t see the team as experienced or “well-oiled” as method, and unless their fraggers show up, I can see a W for the underdog in method.

I saw someone comment about how Liquid beat LG when LG had a 1 map advantage in a bo5 and lost. I was well aware of this, but lets take a look at what made LG lose.

What I would like to point out here is the scoreboard. The three major fraggers for the team were terrible, especially FALLEN, the consistent rock of the team. I don't expect FER and FALLEN to play poorly again and this will result in a LG win in my eyes.

My bet: Medium on LM
Why: Liquid have looked quite good as of late, but a big part of the win was adren playing solid and nitro playing godlike. With fallen playing extremely well as of late, I see him shutting down adren and if the 3 big fraggers of liquid: Elige, Nitr0 and hiko dont show up, I can see a bo3 win here for the brazilian boys.
