Nintey-eight percent of the world's population is dead. We've been sent the Chernarus by the UN, or what's left of it. They think Chernarus was the source. They think if we can stabilize it enough they might be able to manufacture a cure there. The only problem is that this place is swarming with bandits, bambies, and not to mention hordes of zeds looking for their next snack.

This isn't the only place the UN is scoping out, so they could only send a few of us. We took this mission knowing we likely wouldn't come back out. But, with extinction on the table in front of us someone has to do something.

Subject: New Orders

Alright boys, we got a message through to what's left of command. They want us to secured the region. It sounds like an impossible task for so few of us, but someone has to do it if we as a species are to survive.

They've narrowed the source down to three locations. South Africa, Interior China, and Chernarus. We have the least support of the three. It will be harder on us than anyone else. If we're successful we'll be the saviours of humanity.

We need to systematically clear out the Zeds, restablish order, and help the local populace return to a normal life. There will be killing and I don't mean just Zeds. The countryside is rife with bandits looking to take from others as they try to survive. They will fall in line or die.

Innocents will die. Some of us will die. We're just looking to take out more of the Zeds than they do us.

Get ready, boys. Chernarus awaits. Her residents are more than ready for us.
