{TA} Team Alien, Team Alliance, Toxic Alliance, Toxic Coalition [Tc]

This Steam group is a dedication of what was once a fun-loving and moderately sized gaming clan with beginnings in SvenCoop, a free Half-Life cooperative mod, the clan's Freewebs site, and its phpBB forums, that were truly characteristic of the early 2000's and a time of frugality.

Time and time again we return to our roots in SvenCoop to appreciate what was a small but thriving community, what is now forgotten due to the evolving platform of the gaming industry and personal life obligations.

The purpose of this group is to unite all past and present clan members under one alumni for the sake of networking, sharing memories, and multiplayer gaming.

The goal of this group is to find and make contact with all {TA} and [Tc] clan members, leaders, and influencers within the SvenCoop, TFC, and The Specialists mod communities.
Background:

The years 1999-2004 are seen by many PC gamers as nostalgic by result of Half-Life's critically acclaimed success and its WON community. One particular mod of note, SvenCoop, was ground zero for a small group of players that identified as the {TA} clan, originally for "Team Alien".

It all began in a 2-slot cheat server running stadium3, in a very early build of SvenCoop where sv_cheats 1 could only be enabled with two players. As the online community of Half-Life modifications were booming, server management tools such as AMX mod and AdminOP were becoming ever more popular. Drunken_F00l contributed a very popular script/mod called Entmod which was very popular in the SvenCoop and TFC community.

Months later, the same two slot server evolved into a 16 slot Entmod Server managed by him and two co-leaders, Toxic and Col. Sifkopz. Before the coalitions first breakup in 2003 when Steam was released, there were as many as 62 members in the total roster. In 2004, the clan was re-established on Team Fortress Classic under a dedicated DFmod server running on 2fort, with as many as 20 players on at one time. Real world personal obligations caused the server to once again go down and the clan broke up that same year. In 2012 , [Tc] was seen once more on Garrysmod TTT with a dedicated server and later finished in the end of that year.
