Finally called it quits with PS2 permenantly.

Found anything fun to play recently?

Also: guess who has the most play time on Miller now? (no, not me)

Oh yea... and another thing. I have a pet annoyance with the placement of my keyboard in relation to my mouse. The keyboard being so long I feel gets in the way of my mouse placement. This gamepad is obviously nice and small. I can place it where I like.

The added thumb controls are theoertically awesome. Potentially I could have 7 controls that are comfortable to press with my thumb, versus the normal 2. However, specifically with this gamepad I am not so impressed with the thumb controls. The clicky buttons feel a bit stiffer than I would like. The little joystick is not reliable enough for essential buttons (however fine for non-essential) - you will often activate two buttons rather than one. I put seat swaps on it.

I am happy I got it overall. But if I didn't specifically want a Logitech one I might have been happier with one from another company for some better thumb controls.

I like it.

The rows of the keys on a traditional keyboard are staggered, each key is not parallel to the key below it vertically. For someone with average size hands, this has a negative impact on the number of key combinations I can comfortably press. On the gamepad I can pres more.

If you don't use WASD then certain games (e.g. "Orcs Must Die") are a pain because they don't allow key customization. The gamepad bypasses the issue by allowing me to do my customized layout through the gaming software.

Each key can also be a macro, if you wanted say a DPI toggle on your keyboard (which is something I want), you can do it (specifically with this keypad).

Mmmmm control schemes. Delicious.
I've never pulled the trigger on those keypad modules though I have looked at them since the first time I saw one, in late 90s or so? They were marketed for RTS more than anything back then.
The last time I looked (only abour a year ago) I rejected it for a reason I've since forgotten. What do you make of it?
