It's always worth mentioning that as reviewers or curators, these are our opinions therefore you should not be offended in case we dislike a game that you do find enjoyable.

On the Radar | E3 Roundup!

It was then again that time of the year, the week where the gaming world expands into a larger audience, with the usual hour to hour and a half conferences and their long expected awkwardness. We've had a so-so E3 this year and it is debatable who actually had the best conference. But we have to lean to Microsoft's side since it annouced titles that are very keen to our preference! Amongst annoucements like Metro: Exodus and Life is Strange: Before the Storm, MS had a lot on their plate! It was actually the most diverse conference on E3 by far, with the biggest lineup of games that were shown. It's not to say that other conferences weren't bad. Here's a list of what they showed that sparkled our interest:

EA: A Way Out, Need for Speed: Payback

Microsoft: Metro: Exodus, The Last Night, Cuphead, Life is Strange: Before the Storm, Middle-Earth: Shadow of War, Ori and the Will of the Wisps

Bethesda: The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Devolver: Serious Sam's Bogus Detour

PC Gaming Show: Tunic

Sony: Monster Hunter: World, Dad of War, Detroit: Become Human, Spider-Man

Outside the conferences we had mentions or even new trailers for more games, like: Vampyr, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Last Day of June, Hello Neighbor

While the first game did not impress us, the demo for the second one surely felt more fresh. The sequel comes back with all the gore you might expect, as we explore the southern regions of the USA, where religious cults take over the weakest minds. What do you expect from this sequel? What Remains of Edith Finch caught my eyes back when it was revealed, the ambiguous and mysterious story and how weirdly it's unraveled might be worth a look if you're seeking for a story focused game with little gameplay.
