Sonnet for #TDO

It is a strange place with the oddest folks,
At times hostile but at others so fair,
With a passion and rage that none can coax
When topics benign are spoke without care.
Politics, religion, all merit not
In this queer land where trivalities reign.
Gaming, music, the arts are what we sought
When we came to this channel to complain
About the things we hate and those we love
With strangers scattered across this great world,
Who all have their own opinions thereof,
And do not hesitate with dissent hurled.
Is it our differences that bind us,
or do we just need to vent our distress?
