You've probably noticed there hasn't been much activity here for the past several months. The truth is, I wasn't sure this groupd would be needed after MYM. I was honestly hoping it wouldn't. Initially, people seemed to be a lot more objective-focused once things shiffed from quickplay to casual. I thought "well hey, maybe this lit a fire under people to play the game!"

I still conted that I do see a lot more of that than I used to; but lately, I've been seeing the ugly spectres of the past return. I was kicked from Hightower three times in the past week for capping the point. I've seen a few hoovies, and the pervailing attitude of "screw around instead of playing the objectice" seems preveleant again.

And so, it seems, TBTP still has a place. So let's get out there and represent. I'm going to start scheduling game sessions for us. 12 people, first come, first serve, but if you don't get in one of my sessions, no big deal, I've updated the group permissions so that everyone can create group events. I strongly urge all of you to take advantage.

My hope is that we can get together for team games where we're all focused on the objective, and if we're not the entire team, we're enough that we don't have to worry about being pushed out.

I have 4 Competitive Matchmaking Beta Invites in my inventory, and I will gladly hand one over to any group member who is not yet in the beta. You need to have a premium account (IE you must have either bought the game way back in the day, or have bought an item in-game), and you must have Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled in order for it to work.
