When the PathFinders were envisioned, it was a way of recognizing leadership. In the past we would normally recognize the true leaders by making them Admins if they were Supporting Members. But in all fairness, being a Supporting member does not necessarily make you a good leader. That is why all SMs are not admins. Some of the non supporting members here are stellar and I would have loved to have on my admin team, but due to rules way above me I cannot make it so. So the PathFinders are the way to recognize everyone, regardless of status.
