Welcome Friends

Hopefully you are in this group by now, and if so, that's great! Whenever I have Garry's Mod running on a private server, I will start an event to let you all know. Do not tell anyone about this group since it is supposed to be only my friends.

If the date is BEFORE Jully 30, 2016, you will need to use the [prerelease] branch of gMod. Don't worry! The prerelease branch is totally compatible with Garry's Mod's default branch. The [prerelease] branch just allows p2p connections, which will then allow me to invite all my friends to a private server hosted from my computer.

To switch branches:
1. Right-click on Garry's Mod in your Steam Library
2. Click Properties
3. Go to the Betas tab
4. From the dropdown list, choose [prerelease] (or something like that)
5. There is no password needed, just x the window out
6. Garry's Mod should, shortly afterward, change to Garry's Mod [prerelease]
7. Done!

Join the server through the console! connect 192.168.1.11:27015

P2P Changing to DarkRP Gamemode

I am changing the P2P gamemode from Sandbox to DarkRP. Don't worry! It isn't RP. All this means is you now must buy vehicles to spawn them instead of just spawning them in. At first prices will need adjusting, but it will be fair.

New Addons:
- P2P Hero (Makes you download all of the hosts addons so no more links are to be sent)
- ARCBank ATM and Card Reader
- DarkRP
- gm_bigcity_sh
- VCMod (Car dealers, really awesome car features, etc.)

P2P Dedicated Server Up And Running

A new 24/7 server hosted from my computer allows you guys to join anytime, as long as you are in my friends list. It will usually be on sandbox, but occasionally may be switched upon request to a larger map/different gamemode. Please Subscribe to all of these in this collection (677450023), of which you can unsubscribe from anytime with the press of a button.

Just a little shout-out that anyone in this group can post anouncements, and edit others. Please only post your own, and don't just put something like "It's yo homie m8". Announcements should only be used to tell everyone you are hosting a server.
